In the presidential election, pictures are often used to highlight the intensity the candidates possess for their argument. In the presidential debate, no one can argue that Donald Trump isn’t passionate, but some may argue that his passions spiral into aggressions too quickly. Trump is very particular and his emotions get the better of him when things don’t go his way. News outlets use snapshots of his aggression to focus on his vigorous goals and attitude. Considering a collection of images from Donald Trump, from recent news outlets regarding Trump’s bipolar attitude reveals that Trump is an emotionally unstable figure to lead effectively.
Donald Trump is noted to have high emotion in his communications with other candidates, Hillary Clinton, and

Trump has been called aggressive and a bully throughout his presidential campaign. As illustrated by image 1, one might agree. In this image there is an overflowing bias against Trump. This close up, headshot captures a few things: aggression, instability, and lack of control. First, his aggression hijacks the discussion and he becomes a bully to those around him. From this image, a viewer would be afraid of him. Generally, people are attracted to leaders who have a calm but dignified presence. People are also attracted to strength. Throughout his campaign, Trump has shown instability in his arguments. His emotions get the better of him and so he begins to launch verbal attacks at his audience and facilitators. Under these attacks he proves to Clinton supporters that they are right because he is unprepared to address issues on the political agenda for the presidential election. More importantly, Trump’s lack of control is shown by the vigorous point of his finger, and the tight, purse of his lips. Qualities of a good leader include assuming all
“Make America Great Again,” the overarching theme of Presidential Candidate Donald Trump’s campaign brings to light the blunt arrogance of our beloved Donald J. Trump. Trump: a billionaire businessman, entrepreneur, and part time reality TV monkey, started his presidential run as of June 2015. He has, since his declaration of his run, been the frontrunner for the GOP Poll breaking out above the other candidates of Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Ted Cruz and many others by consistent double digits. His run so far has been filled with all things Americans lovingly refer to as in its entirety, Donald Trump: arrogance, controversial pursuits, and lack of explanation to anything he has planned. Though Trump himself has decades of experience with economics,
While viewing Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump speeches’ many would claim that they both have mastered the rhetorical triangle. As candidates, they both have both displayed strong and weak uses of their rhetoric. Aristotle also said that, “rhetoric is basis of democratic engagement in civic life.” Mastering rhetoric to appeal to the voters will be one of the key elements that determines our next president. Donald Trump attempts to use pathos a lot. He tries to play on the audience’s emotions. In one of his most controversial speeches he stated, “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best. They’re not sending you, they’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs.
During the final parts of the 2016 presidential election, Chris Christie gave a last ditch effort in a speech at the Republican National Convention to persuade all citizens on the fence of voting for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, to vote for Donald Trump. Using Persuasive diction, pathos, and near arrogant body language by pointing to the crowd and T.V. camera, buffing out his chest while he glares into the camera, Chris Christie proved how Hillary wasn’t fit to be president while attempting to help Donald Trump fulfill his goal of becoming president. Christie uses positive diction to show how he believes Donald Trump is the best fit to be president out of the remaining candidate, using words such as “strong” “caring” and “genuine” (Reilly) to describe President Trump in a positive way. Christie uses these words to describe Trump as a normal person, or as a “friend” (Reilly) to bring him down to the same level as the citizens voting for him.
Donald John Trump, Republican party presidential nominee, an aggressive, extraverted, outspoken man. Trump can be viewed as diligent, bold, and an inquisitive person. All these characteristics were being shown throughout his entire campaign but especially during his rallies and debates. On September 26, 2016, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton held their very first presidential debate as nominees of their parties. While Trump is running to be president of our Country, it is only right that we understand the type of personality that he has which will reflect the type of leader he’ll be for the United States. I do not know Trump personally so my evaluation will be based solely off of observation; observations of his facial expression, responses, reactions, and behavior. Using the Big Five Traits; Openness to new experiences, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism, I will evaluate Donald Trump’s personality and his under lying brain structure.
One of the thing that bothers me about the upcoming president Trump is his attitude. The way trump expects people to believe his lies even though people have proof that he is lying and he just keeps denying it. He doesn't care how other people feel which is a good thing for most people but he might make the wrong person mad and start world war three.
President Trump’s charisma is a key reason for why he has been so effective in capturing the focus of Millions in the United States and even Billions worldwide. President Trump is always changing. Just when people think they’ve begun to understand him (i.e. what he might say or do), he often does something to prove their assumption wrong. During the election, whenever the media attention would start to deviate from Donald Trump, some sort of a new controversy would suddenly arise, (e.g. like with his plan for a temporary travel ban from countries that were predominantly Muslim, dubbed the “Muslim Ban”), which directed the media right back onto himself. Whether intentional or not, President Trump’s controversies essentially drowned out his competition during the election, detracting all the attention from his more experienced political
Trumps way of speaking is not good for getting to the oval office. We want a passionate leader who when it comes down to the real tough decision can handle them with class. Trump appeal makes people wonder how and why. In Trumps 286 days in office, he has not
If you were the president of the United States of America what kind of leader would you want to be? You would want to lead your country with pride and power. Donald Trump is committed to his job and making changes not only in America, but also around the world. He has made great improvements in America; a few examples are making a difference with democracy, upholding global democracy/civilian rights and new economics/tax reform. These three issues, and many others, all have something in common; Trump is making these complications into strengths in the United States of America and he has only been in the presidency business for over three years.
“I think I have the best temperament,” Trump said on ABC. “I’ve gotten along with people for years and years.”
There are a lot of people out there who think that Donald Trump would make a great president for the November 2016 elections, Jim Meyers of NewsMaxx is also one of those people. In an article he wrote on December 1, 2014 he mentions that Republican Strategist Karl Rove omitted Donald Trump’s name when Mr. Rove was citing people who should be considered for presidential candidates. Now, Mr. Meyers cites 11 reasons for why Donald Trump should run for president, but I’m going to refute 3 of those reasons and show that they’re reasons why Mr. Trump should not run for president and why he should not be elected. A few of Mr. Meyers reasons for why Donald Trump should run for president are: Trump is an American success story, he is tough on foreign policy, and he is enormously entertaining.
Donald Trump expresses his views without thinking about its consequences which shows that he is high on traits like talkative and extraverted. For example his views about the United States allies that they must pay money to US for defending them. [1]
Donald Trump recently gave a speech discussing rising Radical Islamic Terrorism, immigration from the Middle East, and a need for a rise in national security while Manchester, New Hampshire on June 13th 2016. He centers his whole speech around discussing how bad a President his opponent, Hillary Clinton, would be in difficult times. Trump graduated from the Wharton School of Finance in 1968 with a bachelor 's degree in economics, and has become a very successful businessman. He’s the Republican nominee for this upcoming presidential election, and is a very controversial candidate and person. He has come under fire for many of his views that he discusses in his June 13th speech. While Trump does make some agreeably points, he renders his speech ineffective because of his heavy reliance on Clinton’s opinion to form his own. If Trump were to become President, his stance on important issues would need to be reached with careful consideration, and not just based on doing the opposite of his opponents.
great deal of Donald Trump’s political success can be put down to his body language and the unusual ways he uses his face. The first thing we notice about Trump’s facial expressions is the sheer variety. The second is their dramatic, often over-stated character. This was evident before and during the presidential election. While the other candidates – Hillary Clinton included – were struggling to appear likeable and restrained, Trump was busy performing grimaces that would not have looked out of place in Japanese Noh theatre. But what are Trump’s signature facial expressions, and what do they tell us about
Politics are tremendously affected by not only anxiety, enthusiasm, and anger, but all emotions. It is important to recognize the unique role emotions can play in candidate evaluations, perception of risk, political participation, and political attention, learning
Donald Trump is one of the most controversial world leaders of our time. Two people may find it challenging to agree on certain things about him. While some see him in the positive light, others can describe him with negative descriptive. Whatever angle from which you’re looking at Donald Trump, he
