Drake 's New Album Called Views

Anytime someone takes a complicated emotion and simplifies it so I know it like I know the ABC’s, my heart wells with pride and admiration with an intensity that's slightly embarrassing. The album is uniquely defining for me mainly because it fits into so many aspects of life. Although it has a seemingly shallow message about her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles, I have always thought of it as slightly deeper. With lyrics like “This love is alive back from the dead” and “Take my hand and don’t ever drop it, my love” I relate it to daily life. One song describes a time when all you want to do is hide, but the next track describes something beautiful and lovely. Just like one day the storms are raging everywhere I go, but the next God has cleared the skies and created something lovely. The album taught me to not be ashamed of who I am or what I believe, so for that I owe Swift big time. The song called “Hotline Bling” is sung by Drake because his phone is constantly ringing like a “hotline.” The phone will forever ring because of fame and fans. In this song alliteration, nonstandard, and rhyme are being used. This song interest people just because of what he is saying and the way he is putting it.

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, today we have the great privilege of being able to listen to a man that I like to refer to as the new rap royalty. Picture driving in your car and let’s say you’re stuck in traffic and you’re looking for something to listen to on the radio to buy the time, you can turn on just about half of music stations nowadays and you’ll find one rapper that happens to be everywhere you turn, Drake. Drake has become one of the fastest growing and interesting empires that we have seen from the hip-hop scene in a long time.

Kendrick Lamar’s third studio album, “To Pimp a Butterfly,” sheds light on the struggle of achieving rich and fame and the trials that come with. Rolling Stone and Billboard praised the album awarding it the best album of 2015. The album depicts the difficulties of fame by putting the trials and tribulations on display; the inability for those to adjust to their new lifestyle and the potential temptations that creep in. “To Pimp a Butterfly” has been both a divisive and uniting factor in its emergence in popular culture.

To their surprise, Drake won't budge. I personal like this song, because most people in the world will look you right in your face and smile but inside they're the people who don't want you to succeed in life. Then we've the people that will tell you, you'll never be nobody. But you as a person you can't let people stop you from succeeding in life, and once you've met your goal, you've to prove them wrong that tried to bring you down, and didn't believe in you that you're somebody, and you can do anything that you set your mind to do. Nobody can stop you from doing what you want to do. This song is basically proving people wrong and that's why I personally like this

You’re standing in a crowd amongst thousands of fans at an Eminem concert, people from all over, shoulder to shoulder in a massive stadium, singing along every word of their favorite song for hours. People from all over are connected to each other through the power of music. When it comes to music, the life experiences, inspiration, and current events play a tremendously significant role. Hip hop is a form of art which can be expressed through rap songs, break-dancing, and graffiti art. The culture has become so popular that it has entered today’s fashion and modern language. Hip hop music is an extremely large part of today’s generation and a global genre, which influences the generation all over the world.

Drake is a rapper, song writer, actor, and all around entertainer that is starting to get a lot of admiring glances. It appears the entertainer is looking more buff than usual. The fact is that Drake is really looking ripped. Check out those biceps, triceps, shoulders, and is that a six pack that he's wearing? There are a ton of pictures online featuring the Canadian born rapper working out. Wonder if he is working out to his own music? The former Degrassi store has definitely come a long way from wheel chair bond Jimmy Brooks. Let's take a closer look at Drake and the Drake Workout.

The production is interesting as usual with songs like "Dang!", "Stay", "Cinderella", "We" etc. The features on this album blow away anything that was on GO:OD AM. Ty Dolla $ign, Anderson.Paak, Cee-Lo Green, Ariana Grande and Kendrick Lamar all do pretty solid jobs on where they are placed. That is also the other great thing about the features, they are placed so much better than the features on GO:OD AM. We also didn't have to hear another Ab-Soul (Lil Uzi Vert is more interesting than him just to point that out).

According to Merriam Webster’s Dictionary the definition of voice is “the ability to sing.” This is probably the most important criterion because an audience doesn’t want to listen to a song that contains a horrible voice. This song is a perfect example of two amazing voices. Drake, a famous hip-hop and rap artist, and Rhianna, another famous hip-hop artist, sing this song as a duet. Their voices fit perfectly in this song because they both have a serious tone in their voice to relate with the situation the song is addressing. For example, this song couldn’t be sang by two singers that have a high pitch happy voices because the message that is being portrayed is more of a serious tone rather than a happy tone; therefore, these two singers voices fit the part very well.

Born on 1986, Aubrey Drake Graham was born in Toronto, Ontario. Aubrey began attending Forest Hill Collegiate Institute where he began his acting career. He attended two institutes before dropping out of high school although years later he graduated. At the age of fifteen, Aubrey's agent found him an acting job on the new hit series Degrassi: The Next Generation, as a character named Jimmy Brooks. By this point many might recognize Aubrey Drake Graham as the famous and talented rapper/ actor who goes by the name Drake. The album mostly was an account of their lives growing up and for the most part, a motivational album targeted to the streets. With all odds seemingly against them, the duo went on to achieve platinum status for this album and the rest is history.

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy boasted an amazing maximalist approach that boarded on a hip hop opera symphony with lyrics that were memorable and verses that can rank as the best hip hop verses of all time. It was an album filled with legendary moments that music fans will remember for ages, and moments Kanye fan boys will yell at his concerts. This reaction by hip hop fans for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy was immediate. For Yeezus, it was different. Yeezus’ minimalistic approach threw fans and critics off due to the very left field and experimental approach he took for this album, both sonically and thematically. In spite of this, Yeezus still manages to hold up it’s quality, value, and impact in comparison to his preceding albums while becoming one of the most important hip hop albums of all time.
