It's pretty cool for me to learn this too because my sign is Geminis and I want to now the significant of the constellation.
What I have learned about the twins is that they both have the same mother but different dad's I know that the twins went trough alot of stuff together. Gemini was one of 48 constellations in the 2nd century. The name of the twins is castor and Pollux in Greek mythology. People in the back times start to observe Jupiter but they didn't know that Jupiter was hiding a secret "the twins " and now that they have a story for those twins they
I chose the constellation Andromeda because the back story and myths it has really fascinates me! I feel that some of the myths behind the consolations can be rather boring, but with the romance and danger all wrapped into one, I continue going back to it. This constellation is the 19th largest in the sky and is located in the first quadrant of the northern hemisphere. It takes seven-hundred-twenty-two square feet in the sky!
Stars Castor, Pollux, Alhena, Wasat, Clown Nebula, Tejat Posterior, M35, NGC 2372 all make up this constellation. Although not all of these star names are featured in the Gemini Greek myth, Castor and Pollux are. The myth goes like this: Gemini, the constellation of course, represents two twins. Castor and Pollux, although they do not have the same father. Pollux's father is Zeus, also known as Jupiter in Roman mythology, who made their mother pregnant as a swan. And Caster's father, King Tyndarus of Sparta who is Lena's husband. Therefore, Pollux is immortal and Caster is not. Lena also had another child with Kind Tyndarus, Helen, also known as Helen of Troy. Continuing on with the story, Pollux, being immortal, was famous for his incredible strength and Castor was famed for his skill will horses. Other accomplishments include, both of them traveling as argonauts to find the Golden Fleece. As well as fighting in the Trojan war to help bring their sister, Helen home to her

Gemini is composed of several stars, the most popular being Pollux and Casper, the two 'heads' of the constellation. The greek myth where Gemini is orinated from is of two twin brothers -the stars- Pollux and Casper. The constellation is seen between the constellations, Taurus and Cancer.

It belongs to the Ursa Major family.
The constellation that I have chosen is Capricornus. Capricornus is one of the twelve zodiac constellations, and it symbolizes the sea-goat. The best time to see this constellation would be at ten o'clock at night in September and October, especially if you live in the Northern Hemisphere. I chose this constellation because according to Astrology I am a Capricorn and thought it would be interesting to know more about the constellation relating to my zodiac sign. Capricornus has five stars with planets in it's constellation.
The myth of the Gemini constellation consists in the story of two twin brothers: Castor and Pollux. Leda, their mother, was married to Tyndarus, the King of Sparta, but one time Zeus, the god of the thunder, seduced her. Later, she found out she was pregnant, but Castor's father was her husband Tyndarus and Pollux's father was Zeus. The two brothers were inseparable and fought many wars together, side by side. They fought on the Trojan War and became Argonauts. Until the day Castor died and became desperate because he
Cassiopeia is the constellation I have chosen. It is a very interesting constellation, comprised of various stars named with a Greek letter followed by Cassiopeiae (e.g. Alpha Cassiopeiae). The stars also have various traditional names of other origin, for instance Alpha is traditionally called Shedir from Arabic. I chose the constellation partly because I like the name, but it also has interesting origins and I am glad I looked up more details about it.

I have chosen the constellation Orion. I have loved this giant hunter in our skies since I was a child of about 6 or 7 years old. I first noticed this particular group of stars when my elder little brother was born. I can recall that night as if it were last night. It was a cold night in the middle of October, I was leaving the hospital with my father that night, asking about my new brother and hoping he would be able to come home soon. I recall vividly looking up and wanting to ask the gods and the stars themselves to look after my new little brother and make him well enough, and noticed this beautiful, bright group of stars and asking my father what it was.he said it was Orion,a great hunter and if i wanted to know more about it he could help
