Dynamic curriculum is the main focus of this article. In order to meet the requirement of chil-dren’s developmental domains, the curriculum must be planned according to the needs of en-rolled children. An activity should be planned to support the individual child development holistically. The programme provide the child with the space to explore in his own phase of development. When the environment is warm, child centred it will be welcoming to the chil-dren and as well as the parent. Every day the child would be coming to school with no nag-ging or any fuss; as the atmosphere in school is more appropriate for his age and with the equipment supporting him to explore. If the parents are clearly educated on their programme framework.

This assignment is based upon my understanding of child development and children’s learning, considering the curriculum for the Early Years and the curriculum for the Early Years Foundation Stage/Key Stage One. I propose to outline a rationale for effectively continuing children’s learning, from the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage into Year One and include strategies to support transitions, effective curriculum delivery and links between the EYFS and the National Curriculum. Throughout the assignment I will refer not only in general but also to how my research has help me as a practitioner help my setting to effectively continue children’s learning.
For this program outcome I chose my curriculum analysis paper from CUR 512, Curriculum Analysis and Planning. In this course we defined curriculum, the aspects that are considered when writing curriculum, the theoretical perspectives found within curriculum, and the goals of the curriculum. By writing this paper, I was able to focus in on a unit that I teach in third grade social studies to get a full picture of the curriculum. I was also able to see the complex issues surrounding the curriculum that I never previously noticed.
The education of children has existed since the beginning of time as parents have taught and molded their children into the young adults they desired them to be. Initial training of children was not in a formal setting, although history would see numerous settings, purposes, and methodological changes. Philosophies of education have also changed through the years as various voices have seemed to grasp the purpose of educating the next generation, thus laying out objectives to reach those goals of teaching children.
The materials are age appropriate for the children who are 3-5 years old. The classroom has a variety of areas where the children can learn through play house, block, art, music, small toy, book, computer area. The classroom has a hatch computer where the children can learn through the computer software. High Scope is the integrated curriculum where the children learn through play. Children use the plan do review planning, worktime and recall. Where the children plan where they want to work they will carry out their plan during worktime and the children will recall what they did at worktime. Children will learn differently by doing and other children
No child should be excluded or disadvantaged because of ethnicity, culture or religion, home language, family background, special educational needs, disability, gender or ability, everybody should be treated exactly the same as one another. Parents and practitioners should work together in an impression of mutual respect which children can have safety and confidence. To be effective, an early year’s course should be carefully structured. This includes three strands, provision for the different starting points from which children develop their learning, building on what they can already do, relevant and appropriate content that matches the different levels of young children’s needs, planned and purposeful activity that provides opportunities for teaching and learning, both indoors and outdoors, we do this by having a plan for each week with a theme that changes every week, we have different toys out for each day, this is for construction play, floor play, sensory play also water and sand, we go around these toys for the children so if a child’s next step is to use the potty or toilet we could put out the babies, so they are learning to put the baby on the potty which they can they copy from and encourage them to do the
When my guidance counselor and I had the first conversation about college, I knew that a liberal arts curriculum was the right way to go. It would give me the ideal environment to nourish my curiosity and intellectual drive to learn about philosophy and art. Then I realised how important practising visual arts is for me. Therefore, I was on a quest to find a liberal arts college which actively encouraged the growth of my creative drives as much as other subjects.
The components of high-quality mathematics instruction are a standards-based curriculum and evidence-based instructional strategies. A standards-based curriculum is the content and skills that students should learn. Evidence-based instructional strategies are teaching strategies that are backed by research proving them to be effective.
When curriculum are designed, planed daily activities follow. Curriculum designed by the interest of the children and go through steps. As we see here they’re many relations to the JROTC curriculum starting with the Appendix Mandatory Core Service Learning Chapter 8 Making a difference with service learning Lessons 1-3 which is where we made sure our project fell under its criteria. then we have Unit 3 Foundations for Success Chapter 10 Lesson 2 goals and goal setting in this lesson we learned how to create a goal and how to plan to accomplish the goal by following the SPAM (specific, positive, attainable and measurable) method. Next we noticed that the project related to the Unit 5 Geography, Map Skills and Environmental Awareness Chapter 3 Lesson 1 Local Environmental Issues and lesson 2 Global Environmental Issues which can be found on the Hard Bound books, here we saw
The services involve largely learning and outdoors activities because at the first five years, children are experiencing the most important phase of both physical and intellectual development. The plan is to promote creative and vivid environment in early education such as story-telling, reading, playing sports that will greatly increase children’ chances of developing news skills and inner talents. Though disabled children will be separated for special treatments, they are fully equipped with necessary utensils to enable and encourage them to engage in learning-through play
The curriculum allows a flexible approach and therefore the teacher can involve the observed interests of the children and the current issues that they face in their planning. In this way, activities are adult directed yet
The curriculum expresses the importance of allowing children to become successful and confident learners. It also articulates that in pre-school and primary school settings the pupils should experience stimulating, active and effective learning in ways that are suitable to their requirements (DFES,
Emergent curriculum is a way that early childhood educator directs curriculum in an emergent approach, and curriculum is planned based on children’s interest and passion. This method also help children to promote children’s interest in learning because they will learn best when their passion is captured. In addition, curriculum will be appropriated with children’s development. Recently, I have been working at Eden Palms Kidango for several months, and I notice my school’s philosophy is to create curriculum based on children’s development and passion because all children deserve to participate in a quality learning environment to prepare them to succeed in their later schooling. In my school, early childhood educators incorporate emergent curriculum
Prospective student teachers were required to choose a curriculum document from either the primary or secondary school sector for evaluation. They were required to conduct such an evaluation using the Daniel Stufflebeam’s CIPP (Context, Input, Process and Product) Model. The CIPP Model would be used to determine the usefulness of the curriculum in meeting the needs of the Trinidad and Tobago society. Based on possible weaknesses found in the document, prospective teachers were to offer appropriate alternatives to improve the document’s content and implementation.
