From our observations, we have found out that “Elsewhere” is a developing country and is needier for goods and services than “Somewhere” which is a developed country and is not as needy as “Elsewhere”. We think “Elsewhere” is a developing country because it has more of an increasing population, than “Somewhere” which has a declining population but is roughly evenly distributed throughout all the age groups. We get to observe how the age group of people 10-19 have a total population in “Elsewhere”, that is way larger than the age 10-19 population for “Somewhere”. The cause of this could be, “Elsewhere” looks like the data was composed 10 years after a baby boom in the late 90’s, because of how greatly the population had bumped up in the 10-19 age group. “Elsewhere’s” total population for the elderly (80+) is …show more content…
They have a chance to explore more areas of their interest and get a job there, with a higher pay too. Compared to “Elsewhere”, “Somewhere” is also most likely acknowledged to have a steady or well-going economy as all the age groups seem like they are receiving all the goods and services they require. Examples of countries like this include: U.S.A, U.K, Canada, Australia, UAE, Switzerland or Norway. The jobs affect the personal lives of all the individuals in both of the countries too. In developed countries, you would get a higher qualification job, and a higher amount of pay, which would let you have a different lifestyle compared to living in a developing country, which would be having a higher standard of living. Whereas, in developing countries there would be few middle aged people. There wouldn’t be many jobs for people or they would just be on a lower qualification job or some unfortunate individuals would even be jobless, which would lead the family into less money and a lower standard of living than developed
From when it first was established to now, In-N-Out has created for itself the title of one of the best burger joints and has become a phenomenon in the history of fast food places. In 1996 the largest population consisted of people aged 30-50, there were not as many people in the dependency load. In 2011, there were more people aged 40-65, who are getting close to retirement. There are not as many babies being born today as previous years because people are choosing to not have as many children. The baby boomers are getting older and there will soon be more people in the dependency load as the workforce. In 2011 there were more people ages 85 and up because nowadays people have been able to live longer.

The first paper is due by Monday, April 9, 11:59 p.m. You MAY use sources outside of the Liberty Search Engine (and are encouraged to do so). Also you may use scholarly books and not just journal articles. You should avoid using generic websites that do not appear scholarly in nature. A good rule of thumb is that if a website does not have an author, it is not a good source. Good online material has also usually been published in print at some point. Google Scholar and JSTOR are great places to search, as well as the online encyclopedias I've shown you. Always feel free to send me an email if you have questions about sources or formatting.
“Get knowledge of the spine, for this is the requisite for many diseases.” –Hippocrates, 460-377 BC. If a Greek physician could make this statement over 2300 years ago, why is it such an under-exposed theory today? As stated in Chiropractic First, written by Dr. Rondberg, a chiropractor of 35 years and founder of the “Chiropractic Journal,” Hippocrates “believed that only nature could heal and it was the physician’s duty to remove any obstruction that would prevent the body from healing” (8-9). These “physicians” are called chiropractors today, and their goal is to remove subluxations, the displacement of two or more spinal disks that causes
On May 2, 2012, the National Football League lost one of its elite players to suicide: Junior Seau. Seau played for the Chargers, Dolphins, and the Patriots during his professional football career and was a 12-time Pro Bowler before retiring in 2009. Three years after his retirement however, Seau committed suicide by shooting himself in the chest with a gun. This greatly shocked the football world and its image of Junior Seau as a person, but it soon realized the cause for his action. Shortly after Seau’s death, researchers examined Seau’s brain and found that it contained a disease known as chronic traumatic encephalopathy which is formed
This proposal is to help bring to life the Semester on the Appalachain, a semester long expedition on the Appalachian Trail for a group of ten participants, in order to provide an environment that can not be replicated in a typical classroom setting. In the proposal, it will provide research on the benefits of experiential and expedition education, improvement on psychological health, and organizations that run similar programs.

Social media has been a huge way that companies get people to buy things or donate money. Social media can have huge impacts on people by showing the things that are going wrong; like how the elephants are dying by poachers. If people don't help the elephants they can become extinct and they will not be around any more. The way social media knows me is by knowing what kind of things that can catch my attention, they do this by showing my things that I can buy to donate to this charity. Ivory Ella catches my attention by showing me how the elephants are dying in the wild by poaching. A way that social media catches people's attention is by the way they can catch the reader's attention by the things that are going wrong. Most people know that the charities need help, but social media makes people want to donate to this charity. With social media doing this it will make people know that this organization need help to raise money. For example the social media sites may give you shirts or pictures to show that you have donated money to that charity. Some other social media sites try to get people more involved in
Each of the family across the countries for better and better education for their child. Most of the teenagers in each family have a great benefit for themselves by going to school. If they are educated in a big country, they can get jobs, and be fueling the economy for themselves. This is because in the developing countries, most of the times the institutes and colleges are usually not enough to cater for the big population in these countries. A good example in the U.S., most of the industries are found by many people in that country can move to the United States so that they can work in these areas to make money. They usually provide their services for lower wages for people, but this can be better as when compared to the life in the developing countries like the United States and Canada. This is because they are not fully developed and hence few places for the educated people to work
In the United States, starting salaries for teachers who have completed a four-year degree are far lower compared to many other professions, which also require a four-year degree. In most states, teachers must undergo testing and other rigorous certification requirements, but they are given the same consideration or status as beginning professionals in other areas. Although attractive incentives are offered, the compensation does not compare to the long hours of work and schooling required for a teaching career.
Over the years, there have been major shifts within the United States in regards to its population. Statisticians have estimated that 20% of the population will be 65 years of age and older. There is an even
Developing nations are filled with hope and aspirations of one day becoming a wealthy, dominating, and influential country. These nations can sometimes be unsafe, difficult to live in, and hard for workers to earn good compensation for their labor. On the other hand, living in a developed nation has many upsides. Developed nations are wealthy, which in turn have good infrastructure, labor and worker laws, and have less crime.
Over the period of the demographic transition, declines in fertility and mortality cause important changes in a population 's age composition. In general, countries in the early stages of the transition have a younger age structure than countries in the later stages. A changing age distribution has significant social and economic consequences, e.g. for the allocation of education, healthcare and social security resources to the young and old. Assessments of this impact often rely on the so-called age-dependency ratio (DR) that summarizes key changes in the
