Students nowadays face many challenges when it comes to obtaining a college education. We evaluate an institution’s quality based on what we need the most. The qualities sought out may vary by each person’s personal point of view. However, as a student, I’ve found that most students seek for an institute that benefits them the most. Attending a community college has been an enormous advantage towards my education. I have been attending San Bernardino Valley College for the last two semesters. I have come to respect their philosophies and values. The institution has now been in business for 87 years. They venture to encourage both students and faculty towards high standards of achievement and progress into exceptional members of the society. They now offer a variety of degrees, transfer programs and certificates for a wide range of students. San Bernardino Valley College has an accomplished staff, student support services and technological tools that pave the road towards the conquest of a quality education.

Emory offered me something no other school I was accepted to could; it allowed me to study finance and film. Emory also has the perfect location. It is in Atlanta, where many movies are being filmed due to the tax credits in Georgia. This makes getting a job or internship easier. My grandparents and cousins also live in Dunwoody, 25 minutes from campus. This made me feel better about leaving home as I knew there would be people close by if I ever felt homesick. Emory is also the perfect size campus for me. It is large enough to feel like a college not a high school, but small enough to get around campus by just walking. Once here, I discovered you always run into someone you know on campus no matter where you go.
During the Progressive Era Cal Poly started out as a vocational high school. The school became the country’s leading undergraduate university in the West. In 1914 Robert Weir Ryder was given the role as director. Students of the university assembled a student body association and the campus had enjoyed many celebrations which brought 3,000 visiting students back to the campus. World War 1
Leadership, to me, is not necessarily always equated with a formal title, but rather it is characterized by the attitude, behavior, mindset, and actions of a person. Being a leader means being positive and supportive of others, providing them the opportunity to be heard and know that their opinion matters, motivating them to accomplish shared goals through teamwork. Over the past years,

Today’s Oglethorpe University is a thriving intellectual community in Atlanta, Georgia. However, Oglethorpe has survived many trials during its different iterations. From the very beginning, it was challenged by lack of money and interest. When it finally opened, Oglethorpe University was still plagued with financial issues, as well as issues with maintaining a high quality of education. Years later, the university collapsed under the strains of the Civil War and post-war Reconstruction. More than one hundred and seventy five years after its original charter, Oglethorpe’s existence today is a testament to the power of education.

The white marble structures and manicured yards are the principal sign when strolling onto Emory's grounds that it's not a run of the mill school. Beside the beautiful setting that is fifteen minutes upper east of downtown Atlanta, Emory's blend of differing qualities and scholastic fabulousness drives its understudies to buckle down and play hard. Since its origin as a little Methodist school in Oxford, Georgia, in 1836, Emory has turned into a broadly positioned college. The school offers an expansive aesthetic sciences instruction and sets understudies on a track for achievement in different fields and fixations. Emory's associations with very licensed organizations and associations in Atlanta, for example, the Centers for Disease Control and Coca-Cola, help the college draw in candidates from more than fifty nations and rank among the country's world class. Emory is known for its dedication to making positive change on the planet—it anticipates that its understudies will do well furthermore do useful for the world.
Emory makes a great point based on Russell’s argument that based on normal human perceptions it is easy to believe that our senses can be skewed and give us false data, and can be changed based on conditions of either the person or the environment in which they are viewed. For example, even texture can change on an object, when dry fur can feel soft, light and bouncy. If the condition changed, such as if the fur got wet, it would feel completely different, it would be heavier, soggy and greasy in some ways to the touch. If color and texture can possibly be abstract, it can be easy to fall into the belief of whether everyday life isn’t subjective as well or even exists. And based on that logic there seems to be no point at all to not believe
The Faculty Senate meeting provided examples of several matrix elements, including “agenda/direction” and “partnership”.
