After each person she would look down and wait, cleaning her mind for the next person, so each person would have a clear and unique moment with the artist. She treated everyone she sat with, with the same attention as everyone else and people were shocked by it. There were many reason why they came and sat infront of her, some of them were angry some wanted to know what would happen and others fell in love with her. Others were incredibly open and and had so much pain, it would invoke emotion in Abromavic and many times she was moved to tears. Of course, being still for day on end with nothing to distract you would have psychological impacts on your mind and Abromavic was left with nothing but her mind and her vistors. Her emotions would have
“This is where you can find your soul, if you dare.” (Anderson, pg 10) This belief comes from the mind of the Melinda, the progantists, art teacher, Mr. Freeman. Art is truly a door to the mind of an individual, showing things that people aren’t able to say. It shows through images and colors what many people aren’t able to express in words, events and thoughts speaking through the medium. Art is growing as a use of therapy to heal and tell. Psychologists analyze their patients art at a psychological level, interpreting the image into words. One of the theories in art therapy, which is seen throughout “Speak”, is the idea that unconscious thoughts are expressed in an image. (Irvings)These images then can be explained rationally. Melinda’s three major art images, the half dead trees, turkey bone, and cubism represent this theory.
The tone of the narrative is rather mysterious which conveys an energetic and odd mood. “The Tell-Tale Heart” talks about a villain who is very disturbed by the abhorrent eye of an old man. The villain is so bothered by the atrocious eye that he convinces himself into killing the innocent old man although he delays the murder day after day because he is eager to find the most ideal time to commit the murder. Although after a seven-day wait, the villain decides to kill the old man on the eight night, and he hides the corpse of the elder under a series of floorboards in a very clever manner. Soon after, the police arrived at the house that the murder was committed in because the neighbors of the old man complained that they heard a noise coming

Since the beginning of time, artists have labored extensively to find innovative ways to convey sentiment, passion, and feeling. Telling stories and trying to unlock the minds of people through different avenues of artistic labors. Art touches and affects people in unique ways; it can have special or unusual meaning on the person depending on how one views it. Artists’ rendering of their art is interpreted in numerous ways by others who view it unless it is explained by the artist on its meaning giving a clear example of what they are portraying. Two people looking at the same painting, sculpture, portrait, or photo may come to different views on the arts meaning even though they are looking
In “The Tell-Tale Heart” by Edgar Allan Poe, the main character, the narrator, kills the old man because he disliked his eye. He claims his motivation is neither the old man wronging him nor desire for money, but rather a fear of the man’s pale blue eye. The narrator insists that he is not crazy, even though he goes to the elderly man’s apartment and observes the man sleeping. The narrator shows clear signs of insanity by having no reason or killing the old man, confessing to the perfect crime, and enjoying murdering an innocent person.
Eyeball. Fear. Craziness. The narrator in the “Tell-Tale Heart” by Edgar Allan Poe is not reliable instead he is insane and crazy. His insanity is shown in this evidence.“ It took me an hour to place my whole head within the opening so far that I could see him as he lay upon his bed” (Poe 84). This evidence shows that he is crazy because he is stalking the old man because how his eye looks. His insanity boosted up a whole lot because you should not judge someone by their looks. The narrator liked the old man but the eye bothered him. The narrator never had the idea of quitting his job instead. The next evidence shows that he will only kill the old man if his eye is open.”It was open—wide, wide open—and I grew furious as I gazed upon it”(Poe

After observing both of these artists’ works, I recalled very specific memories and feelings that I forgot existed in my mind. My initial interpretations were very specific, but I wanted to know if I
While art is only a hobby to some, it can be a source of happiness and closure to others. Art, literature, and music have helped numerous people through challenging times, being an outlet in which one can let their emotions out. This being said, struggles such as addiction and depression can have an affect on an artists work. Many artists would not have the same quality of work they have today if they did not channel their emotions through art as a outlet. Sharing experiences through art is one of the most timeless ways to tell a story, dating way back to some of the first pieces literature and music created. Art is one of the biggest outlets in which one can let their emotions out in a healthy and effective way, sharing one’s story, getting their feelings figured out, while impacting the quality of work that is created.
This and other clinical experiences have led me to be interested in the role of emotion dysregulation and gender in the occurrence of different behaviors. For instance, I found that the primary reason given for job-burnout in law enforcement is work-related stress. Female law enforcement was not as prevalent to use alcohol to cope with their stress. Also, the innate nurturing nature of females was a significant predictor of decrease in using violent behavior. Obviously, there is still much work to be done in addressing questions related to gender differences and prediction of impulsive, aggressive behaviors. Once, I have concluded my current dissertation I will like to focus in researching the same types of behaviors but among inmates.
“Words have no power to impress the mind without the exquisite horror of their reality..” Said Edgar Allan Poe, the author of The Tell-Tale Heart.
It showed internal conflict, her perspective of things, things from her
Art can be one of those things in life that can be interpreted in variety of ways, however not all artist has the same style and the way of creating their own artwork. An artist can go above and beyond the limit of reality and be very expressive into their works. One of the purposes of art is to grab people attention due to the details or the creative idea behind it. These three artists that are about to be presented are very bold with their artwork and their works are somewhat provoking to the viewers because of how the content in their works gives the creepy feeling just by looking at it.
Human emotions remain as one of the world’s biggest secrets. Like sleep, we know what happens to our body when we experience these emotions whether it be a release of hormones or a certain area on the body becomes more sensitive. But we don’t know why we have them, experience them, or what purpose they serve. All we know is everyone’s emotions behave differently. Different types of arts can elicit completely different emotional response from people. Some art may have the ability to appeal to dangerous emotions in certain people. Whether it be the corruption of a once faithful and beautiful young girl, plagued by the desire for romanticism and lofty ideas, or a handsome young nobleman who is obsessed with living life to fullest. Both are fueled by the emotion that a certain type of art elicits in them, leaving them in a never ending chase that ruins there life’s. In the Novels Madame Bovary and The Picture of Dorian Grey the protagonists in these stories perfectly exemplifies the danger of arts emotional appeal by showing the corruption and eventual downfall of two once young and beautiful souls by exposing them to art that pleases dangerous emotions such as desire, pleasure, entitlement and disappointment.
An artist 's psyche can 't be placated by the ordinary or carried on by business as usual; it is parched to search out the human condition and to look profound into individuals ' characters.
