drinks. They think mixing their drinks give them some sort of defense mechanism towards sleep deprivation and increase energy level. For us to become more aware of the risk of excessively drinking energy drinks, we would have to regulate everything someone consumes. Otherwise, someone will drink too much and could possibly go too the hospital. People are always wanting to increase their energy level. The main focus with energy drinks are the ingredients caffeine and taurine. Those two combined give the sense of enhancement of concentration and endurance. There is an internal problem that includes the hemodynamic parameters. This involves the decrease of blood pressure and the increase of cardiac contractility with taurine (Steinke et al., 2009) This is why we will be examining the hemodynamics and ECG effects in enters drinks among young adults. Researchers had 15 volunteers (ages 18-40) who had to refrain from caffeine for a 48-hour period before the study began. Their blood pressure, heart rate, and ECG were taken (Steinke et al., 2009). When it comes to platelet reactivity and endothelial dysfunction, we can indicate the cardiovascular issues such as abnormalities in thrombotic events. Therefore, researchers studied 50 subjects. These subjected fasted, refrained from drinking energy drinks and got venous blood samples to determine the platelet and endothelial functions. They consumed a sugar free energy drink because of what the glucose does to the platelet function and nitric oxide bioavailability (Worthley et al., 2010). Endothelial functioning was tested by a pulse-wave amplitude that would respond from a flow-mediated stimulus. At the end of the study, the subjects heart rates were not affected by the energy drinks, but the arterial blood pressure did have an increase after consuming the drinks. The
