Gray- John and I left after the dramatic announcement of wat, not bothering to listen to anything else they had to say. Not much later, John ran off to do an errand that was delivered via messenger bird. Apparently a village needed a hunter to kill off a wolf that was eating all of the sheep. War against Starrock, why would he even do that? Does he have evidence that she was taken specially to Starrock? I would not know, only the Queen was here last time, and obviously her beautiful servant girl and the other who I did mot get introduced to. I am getting side tracked from my own thoughts. "I said do you think you have what it takes to become a guard!" He yelled at me. "Yes sir!" I yelled in response. "Alright," he said, then he pushed me back into the mud pit. The mud got everywhere it had missed while we trained. "Get up," he said with a very serious tone. I slowly stood up and walked towards him. By the time my foot returned to where it had been last he had yet again pushed me back into the mud. "Get up, Gray," he said angrily. I got up from where I stood trying to brush away the mud. "Do you want to become a guard Gray!" He yelled at me I was mad now, I was not going to let him push me back in, "Yes sir!" I walked up and was prepared for this time. He moved his hands to push me again but I moved to the side and moved behind him. With the swift movement of my tiny 10-year-old arms he was in the pit of mud. The shocked silence behind me of my fellow companions pleased me. Our teacher stood up from the mud and shook some of it off. "That is more like it Gray," he said grinning, "This one will be a true guard." I cringed at the thought of being in the harsh training camp. The cold wind bringing me back from my past memories. I can imagine what Gabriela would have done, she probably would have told the man off saying it was rude to treat people like that.
