Today’s economic stance is noticeably much worse than how it was back in the ‘old times’. Today, firms and sellers alike can make profits from simply owning the license or copyright to a property or service they either created themselves or simply bought the rights to. This ranges from music, shows, clips, photographs, stock images, even franchises! This has put our consumers in a worse state than before for having to provide additional payment for these unnecessary factors as the right to use an image in a presentation, print out or advertisement, or the right to use the photograph of your newborn child only for a brief amount of time before it becomes part of the license of the professional photographer who took that photo for you. …show more content…
