Many people depend on these fast food restaurants twice or thrice a week. This confirms why most of children today suffer from obesity and most of them are over weight. Today, you can’t see someone hungry other than poor people that don’t have money because restaurants are everywhere. Especially fast food restaurants, you can easily find one on the corners of streets, airports, malls, schools, gas stations, shopping center, and even in hospitals. Fast food restaurants are fast and that’s what attracts consumers. They are also known as quick service restaurants. Despite the fact that they serve quickly these restaurants can deliver food to consumers at a very low cost. It can be reassuring to a hungry person in a hurry or far from home. “In the United States, consumers spent about US$110 billion on fast food in 2000 (which increased from $6 billion in 1970). The National Restaurant Association forecasts that fast food restaurants in the US will reach $142 billion in sales in 2006, a 5% increase over 2005. In comparison, the full-service restaurant segment of the food industry is expected to generate $173 billion in sales.
