Data for the study was gathered in two steps, firstly a number of international students from Pakistan, India, Saudi Arabia and Nepal from last two years were taken from international recruitment office of Murray State University to analyze growth or decrease in number. The data from marketing campaigns and tactics in these countries were also analyzed to see the trend, of course selection for international students, and successful tactics in past for recruitment. Murray State University takes help from agents to recruit students from specific countries, the data about communication with them was also obtained in order to determine effective efforts in the process of recruitment. A follow up interview had four question about suggestion to attract more students and solve problems.
Organization
The data were collected on the Murray State University campus. located in Murray, KY. It is a small town which known as the home of MSU, school started in 1922 as Murray State Normal School. University offers one of best Nursing and Business and accounting courses in the region and is recognized by U.S. News & World Reports as the best school in the region. The university offers a range of bachelor's and master's degrees in science and arts majors. It is offering 63 Baccalaureate, 6 Associate, 4 certificates, 43 Master with 54 specializations and 3 doctoral programs. It is a state university and accommodating 10,495 students from 46 states. University has 641 international students from 41 countries which is 6.4% of the whole population (Murray State Fact book, 2016).
Population
Population for research is international graduate and the undergraduate students from Pakistan, India, Nepal and Saudi Arabia, which is a half of international population at Murray State University. The selected population for this study is 315 which is half of total number of the total number of students from selected population is approximately 300. The sample for each of the country was chosen carefully to provide a true representation to
