Why television has the huge impact on the teenager, and what led this to effects on American culture society? Television is the main source of media, from the wide range of information is passing to the audience. In other word, television is a form of entertainment, education, news headlines, gossips and advertising. However, between the 1940s and 2000s, television started to have a huge impact on American culture and society. It emphasizes on how people think and perceive things on an important social issues such as race, gender, and class. The television, started telecasting different kind of shows, which involve the viewer’s perspective of right or wrong. The television program began to rating by the viewers during the 1970s. In the 1980s and the 1990s the more channels and cable TV was introduced, and more obstacles are introduced throughout. Consequently, it helps children to learn different perspective through television, but start creating conflict among each other. The excessive use of Television is the harmful effects on children’s brain development and behavior, lack of physical activity, and impact on social development. To begin with, watching television extremely influence children, able to manipulate them, and their brain start to developed the way television represents.
