Without successfully appealing to your audience, you will be unable to effectively argue your position rationally. This is an absolute necessity because no one wants to fight a battle that is already lost. It is possible to use another argumentative approach, but the Rogerian is an easier way to fulfill the audience’s logical and emotional appeals as well as making your argument credible.
