Ethics – is a philosophy of proper behaviour and moral principles. To be more accurate it is a science of morals. Each day of our precious life is put in ethical dilemmas that require knowledge how to act. It is really tough to behave in a right way when there is so much iniquity and we choose the gregarious feeling. We all have our own opinion and we want to express it as much as possible, but you cannot because of society. Society does not want people to react, to talk back and tell their, especially when it does not correspond with the overall opinion of the society. Beside this fact, there are still rules and steps how to behave ethically and morally. Our case is not exception and touches a serious ethical code.

Advisor is hiding the truth and still taking the advantage from situation. He will still get the commission and the bank will grant them loan. If the advisor would have acted by moral code he would have told the truth both to the wife and to the bank, but they would not get the loan and counsellor would not get his commissions but it would be the right thing to do.
Based on philosopher Immanuel Kant ethics you need to be deontological person, well that is what Kant’s theory is telling us. By deontology we presume that the person in case should act in the right moral way, without thinking about consequences comparing to a consequentialist person. Based on deontology we can apply golden rule: “One should treat others as he would like others to treat himself”. The counsellor should carefully follow ethical theory and apply this to his daily work, it should be his Bible.
To sum up, the facts that we mentioned above should apply to a good advisor. All rules and theories are based on perfect model that is passed years by years. If the advisor will follow the structure mentioned above, he will give the rightful advises or recommendations that would help the costumer. Professional counsellors are also bound by other ethics such as being non-judgemental and should not exploit their clients in any way. They must be respectful of how their clients choose to live and their right to self-determination. Counsellors must not impose their own thoughts or feeling on other people & should not have any expectations or impose any conditions on their clients. The relationship between counsellor and client should be one of equality. Although, the client may not feel that there is equality, they may feel powerless, as they are seeking help. The counsellor must try and convey a sense of equality and use their skills and knowledge to enable the client to take control of their life and feel empowered.
I intend to show an understanding of the ethical framework for good practice in counselling, relating it to practice and also my own beliefs and opinions, how this influences the counselling relationship, I will also show the need for protection of self and client.
In Normative Ethics there are three distinct schools of thought, and each differentiate through moral intentions. Consequentialism relies on the consequences of an action in order to distinguish whether or not something is morally acceptable. Deontology considers the morality of an action by one’s reason for doing a certain deed. Lastly, virtue ethics bases morality off of virtuous character, and how a virtuous person would act given a certain predicament. Ultimately, consequentialism provides the most practical explanation for morality due to the notion of providing the best possible result. Contrarily, deontology and virtue ethics do not always provide an individual with the most sensible course of action, and therefore prove to be
The British Association for Counselling’s Code of Ethics and Practice for Counsellors states that ‘Counselling may be concerned with developmental issues, addressing and resolving specific problems, making decisions, coping with crisis, developing personal insight and knowledge, working through feelings of inner conflict or improving relationships with others’ (BACP Ethical Framework).
What exactly does the term “ethics” mean? When asking this question among several different groups of people, I’m sure all of their answers would be different in many ways, but would all draw the general theme that ethics is somewhat of a study of what is right and what is wrong. This is a mostly correct conclusion, except for the fact that it encompasses not only determining what is right and wrong, but attempting to systemize and defend those ethical positions which one holds. Almost all of the controversial headlines you see in the media today involve some sort of question of ethics. Abortion. Healthcare. (“Should we take money from the rich and give to the poor to pay for medical expenses?”) Gun laws. Euthanasia, etc. The topic I want

At times people going through difficulties that needs counselling therapy might sometimes make a negative conclusion about themselves being the source of their problems.
