Photography when it was first discovered, took many hours to develop in order to expose the film, and for this reason, many scenic views such as mountains, gardens, trees, rain and sunshine were perfect subjects. These images captured a wide variety of elements such as colors, and the views that they would depict. Mountains, rivers, beaches, and lakes, are all very common subjects when taking photographs of scenery. Scenic photography is one of the most common because the main focus of the picture does not move. After a steady progression, pictorial photography as a movement emerged. Pictorial photographers believed that their field is more than just an objective, mechanical media.
