There are reasons I didn't work for my phone. One of the reasons was school. The more school gets closer the more my fears took over. The second was I always get very defensive when you guys are accusing thing that I didn't do. Thirdly, I get very angry when you guys tell to shut up or you will interrupt me when I'm speaking and you just don't care but when I would do it on accident and you would shout at me. These are the reasons. I will get in depth with the reasons and why they connect. First, there is the school fear that had me concentrating on that instead of my phone and how to get it back. It's just the more it got close to the day I would go back to school, the more my fears raised and kept my brain concentrating on my fear. I let
Thank you for reading my very persuasive, short essay on why I should get my phone back and I hope you really put my reasons into
I should get my phone back because i have now learned my lesson about being more responsible and doing the daily things i should do.
I am a student at Silver Hills Middle School, I am 13 years old and I am writing this because, you need a wider variety of phones.Say you go into a grocery store and you really want those cosmic brownies, but they're not at that store .That's how people feel if you don't have phones in stores. I have been using your service for about 5 years, and it's good but you need more phones.
Being without their phone can cause anxiety to students. Researchers in Singapore asked 87 undergraduates aged between 18 and 29 to take part in tests which monitored their cognitive function. Some had their smartphone and some didn't.(Knapton) When students don’t have their phone, they get worried because they get attached to them. If students' anxiety is lowered, they'll do better in school. Researchers are now understanding the cell phone addition is more common for teenagers than adults.. If we get cell phone breaks there chances the student could do better, like going on social media for a bit. If they get that little stuff in them they could pay attention without worry about their texts, or snapchats. they won't feel like they are missing out. Allowing small breaks sometimes can help with their anxiety and with that it'll help their testing. (Knapton)
I don't how why these kids would to attack me because I payed the phone with my hard sweat. and they don't have to work to get anything but they are still going to get the phone but have to break their backs. I feel like I am the one that has to be jealous that they don't work and I have to get money to buy stuff. They really don't appreciate what they and what they don't have to do. I wish had everything on palm of hand like they do.Their parent should teach them how hard work pays off and how it feels to work under the hot sun.
In today’s society, smart phones are a part of a student’s average, everyday life. No matter what people are doing, they find time to look at their phone and make a call, read a text, check e-mails, or search something on Google. Even though people find so many uses for them throughout the day, they are a controversial subject to talk about in their use in the classroom. Many schools have policies strictly prohibiting the use of smart phones in school. For schools to ban the use of smart phones is a major mistake. They only look at cell phones as a distraction to students, and don’t understand that this generation is dependent on the technologies of today. What educators need to do is ask themselves
Consequently, leaving your cell phone in your locker you could potentially miss out on an important or emergent
Many students have used their cell phones to share answers to tests and quizzes, and to report inaccurate and offensive information about other students and their school. Cell phones can be distractions in the school environment, evading classroom time and reducing student’s academic success.
Cell phones are used by so many people and do so many things to help people that they have become a necessity, rather than a convenience, in order for people to carry on their lives. This necessity or dependency is the addiction that people face with their cell phones. When these people lose or break their phones they panic, feel anxiety and look for the quickest way to fix the problem. For example, the car needs the oil changed and at the same time the phone is broken. Most people today
One problem with cell phones in today’s society is that they have become major distractions. Cell phones are distracting employees in the workplace and are leaving them with their jobs halfway done. Everywhere in the business industries, the employees are hard at work re-tweeting and catching up on the latest newsfeed rather than managing their time more wisely. Not only are cell phones a distraction in the workplace, they are also a distraction and disruptive in school districts, causing students’ attention to be elsewhere. Many students would rather text in the middle of class instead of pay attention to what the teacher is reviewing. In this case, students do not gain the amount of education provided for them. In addition to cell phones being distracting, people often like to multi-task by walking or driving while texting. These things cause them to be unaware of their surroundings. Texting while driving has become a major issue because texting and driving can lead to car crashes which are often fatal. On the other hand, texting and walking isn’t too bad, but can cause a little bit of embarrassment. There are stories of people walking into walls and bumping into people or tripping over a table because their nose seems to be stuck in their phone. To some, being on their cell phone is more important than grades, clients, and others around them.
I should get my phone back for three reasons. They are simple. I need it for communication if I want to communicate with new people, I use it for school for an assignment notebook, and I didn’t deserve to lose it in the first place. You might also say that I should have lost my phone because “I threw the wrench at dad.”
Why would it be so bad if I asked for new phone? If I could ask for any privilege it would be a new phone. My phone I have now affects everyone in my house. If they bought me a new phone, they wouldn’t have to deal with me complaining. I am always complaining and getting angry because my phone doesn’t work very well. Here is why I would ask my parents for a new phone as a privilege.
Giving up media for one day was particularly hard. Not because I couldn’t stant now doing things such as watch TV, or sift through social media, but because I felt as if I lost something the whole time, or that I was forgetting something, and I felt oddly relaxed at times in which I usually am not calm. It was difficult not having my phone to see what time it was, and it was nerve racking not to have it just in case something where to happen while I was driving too and from school. The only person I talk to on a daily basis anymore is my boyfriend, and sadly to admit we even sleep on facetime audio through the night, (he’s practically my third alarm clock) which made it also very unnerving to ensure that I will actually wake up for my class the following day. I constantly caught myself feeling like I had forgot something, my hand felt empty which made me freak out. I also spaced on the fact that I typically have a wallet case on my phone that holds my drivers liscence and creditcards, so I kept finding myself having a moment of panic because I thought I lost it all.
Cell phones and technology in general has advanced a lot over the last ten years. Allowing students to be able to take their phones or devices wherever they want in today’s society. Thus bringing forward the issue of cell phone distraction in the classroom.
My cell phone is my best friend, like a tiny mom reminding me and organizing everything for me. I have my whole life on this phone, which is good in a way but also very bad. Losing this phone unfortunately would mean losing every single phone number of everyone I know. Literally without my phone to most everyone I know It would be like I didn’t even exist. My overrated house phone has been oddly tossed away in my closet and my iPhone is now my new best friend. Without it I wouldn’t be able to contact my family and friends, see how they are doing, hear their voices from a far. I wouldn’t be able to text my friend and tell her I’m seriously only 10 minutes away when really I’m about 30 minutes. It’s great to get in contact with people you can't see every day but there is also a down side to this. Don’t get my wrong i love people checking in on me seeing if I’m okay but it also annoys me when I’m in the middle of class and I can feel the buzzing of my phone, not being able to turn my phone volume on without someone blowing it up and either calling or texting every 5 seconds it is just annoying, it’s too much of a distraction.
