Explain Why Pets Should Not Be Allowed In The Classroom

A local group of animal welfare activists demanded that you deny the school's request. They argue that the majority of these animals are lost or stolen pets and it is tragic to think that previously loved dogs could end up on a surgical table for an experiment. Furthermore, they claim that as people become aware that animals taken to shelters may end up in research laboratories, they will stop using the shelters and simply set these animals free.

There are loads of different ways that we as humans affect the world and the environment we live in. Some things that we do can not only change and affect the environment but can also affect our health.

Pets. Pets are frequent in homes all over the world, but should they be allowed in schools? They are many different points of view on this subject but, many parents, teachers and kids believe that “pets are only a distraction and that is to hard for kids to care for a pet” but actually they are quite the opposite. Pets in the classroom believe it or not teach kids good skills and lets children benefit from interacting with these pets. Because of these reasons I think that pets should be allowed in classrooms.

There is a reason people say dogs are a man’s best friend. When I was younger, I was always afraid that some “bad guy” would break into my house. This fear caused me to have nightmares and lose sleep. Then I got a dog and I felt so much safer! Right now there is a case going to the Supreme Court to decide if service dogs should be allowed in schools. Service dogs should be allowed in schools because they help people with disabilities, they provide comfort to people, and because dogs are frequently used in fields of medicine. If I found comfort with a dog, so can students with disabilities.

When vet schools used to use animals it wasn't thought as of being cruel to the animals it was thought of as an educational experience (¨Are Live-Terminal Laboratories Necessary?¨). Common animals used in vet schools are dogs,pigs,mice, rats, and birds. These animals are picked because of their body type, and by the procedures that can be done on them. These 5 animals are commonly used because they are the most common animals that a veterinarian will see in their office. These are also the easiest animals for a University to get their hands on (¨GRADUATE AND PROFESSIONAL SCHOOLS¨). In labs, animals are anesthetized then injected with medicine, tested, and later the animal will die. Many people find this cruel but others look at it as the circle of life.
