We should be allowed to chew gum in class. There are at least three reasons as to why we should be allowed to chew gum in class. The first reason is that it can help some students focus. The second reason is it helps refresh the brain. The third and final reason is because not all students will stick it under their desks and wherever they please.
My first reason as to why we should be allowed to chew gum is because it can help certain people focus better. The more focused you are the more accurate and aware you are. Chewing gum also makes you answer questions far more quickly correctly. Finally, if you chew gum than you can focus longer meaning that you could take in more information. I usually have a hard time focusing so even if these
re One reason kids should be allowed to chew gum at school.Chewing gum helps kids stay more focus at school. For example One study even showed that students who chew gum during a test scored higher than those who did not. GUM CHEWING IS AGAINST THE RULES AT GREENBRIER MIDDLE SCHOOL. The reason I am copying this paragraph is because I was chewing gum in class. Gum chewing is not allowed in school for the following reasons:
Chewing gum in school is a heated issue because many people think it is rude and messy. Others argue it can help students focus, improve memory when taking tests, and relax while doing schoolwork or a test. But the negative argument is misguided because the mess wouldn’t happen if students were allowed to have gum, and therefore throw it away without feeling guilty. Still, the actual question that should be debated is what the benefits of chewing gum in school are.
Most people believe that the process of chewing gum can be distracting not only to the chewer, but to the surrounding persons.
Another, reason kids and students should be able to chew gum during school is it has also been scientifically proven to help improve the students memory. For example, when students are studying for a test it could help them remember what they studied about. Next, it can also help them remember what they learned that day during school thanks to they were
One reason why I believe gum should be allowed at school is because studies have proven that it increases grade point average. Baylor College of Medicine studied 108 eighth graders for 14 straight weeks. Half of them chewed gum during school work and homework while the other half didn’t. They noticed a three percent raise in the grades of those who chewed gum. If we were allowed to chew gum during school work and tests but then had to spit it out at the door when class was over, our grades would also have the chance to increase. For this reason I believe that chewing gum would be beneficial to students with memory problems that need a little extra boost to help them reach their full potential. This way teachers and students would both benefit for this new rule.
When you have gum in school it can make to much noise and you can distract
Thousands of pieces of gum are being chewed right now, in different classes, in different schools. All over the globe, people are chewing gum. But now multiple schools have been debating whether gum should be allowed in schools. Gum should be allowed in schools.

Chewing gum in class can help students stay focused, can help students stay active, and can help students perform better overall. Banning gum in school more often than not can cause more harm than good. Gum chewing should be allowed in class.
Have you ever wanted to chew gum in school so bad that you start chewing on an eraser? Well these are some of the reasons I think gum should be allowed in school. I think that chewing gum should be allowed in school. The first reason I believe chewing gum should be allowed in school is because it helps students focus more and become less distracted. If students have a test chewing gum can help you focus on your test. There is almost always a student in your class that distracts people. Gum will probably help you put all your attention on your test instead of that student. In 2009 researchers from Baylor College Of Medicine Of Houston did a experiment. SMACK! SMACK! POP! The teacher quietly pulls me out in the hall and ask if I have gum I sadly say yes, and I have to throw it away. I am going to try to make people able to chew bubble gum in class. What is really wrong with gum it’s not bad . People in our middle school or even elementary have probably been written up millions of times or have been told to throw it away a million times because they were chewing bubble gum. Bubble gum isn’t a crime so why should people have to throw away their store bought bubble gum that cost money. I think people should be able to chew bubble gum during class to take things out of you head that you don’t need to think about .
Chewing gum is school is as helpful as it is harmful, one teacher says. Chewing gum during tests and in the middle of class helps improve focus, and it allows people to achieve preferable grades. I am against the act to totally ban smoking on Uvic campus.First, there are some advantages for taking tobacco. The smoothing effects of smoking and the ability of cigarettes that can make students calm and stimulate their brain cells to work more efficiently has received widespread recognition. Moreover, we have to admit that no matter what kind of ban is issued, there are always some people who want to smoke. Smoking is their personal rights that need to be defended. A total smoking ban is unrealistic. Third, If we have a complete ban on smoking on the Uvic campus, those students who are unbearable to smoking addiction then have to smoke off campus, and it usually happens at night. If so, the safety of students are not guaranteed.
