The demographics of the people around the location play a large part in which city the event will be held in. It would serve no purpose to hold a fashion event in an area where there would be no desire to view the spectacle. New York City is home to a very active fashion interested population and thus makes it an ideal location if a company were to seek to attract business via a fashion show. Relative to other fashion oriented communities New York is fairly out of the way in terms of distance, but the people attracted to such events are not to be swayed. They are more willing to go great distances. The models participating in the event are also effected by the cultural surroundings. The diversity of their appearance is also determined by the cultural standards. These standards are created, often times, by social media and the social activities taking place. These things often make certain appearances ideal based on location. People are effected by their cultural location. Certain cultures value certain appearances. The human geography of a set location is controlled by various

They take it for granted that NY, PARIS and LONDON are the hub of the fashion. Most people are fanatical about some foreign luxurious brands, chasing some fashion shows and designs of many celebrated designers. Such as, Karl Lagerfeld. As technology continues to progress fashion evolves right alongside. Before the invention of the tv the way to spread different styles and outfits was through sketches and designs. By this means it would take extended amounts of time to spread ideas of fashion from one place to another. The influence of technology on the fashion industry cannot be overlooked. Fashion bloggers need to be very knowledgeable of trends and upcoming events if they want to inform the public of these. For fashion bloggers the purpose is not to write essays like magazine articles but short paragraphs evaluating trends and events. Here I will attempt to discuss and demonstrate how fashion blogs use the language of evaluation.
Nations across the world unite in so many ways. Whether it be the Super Bowl, or the Olympics, there are always things that can bring people together. Fashion Week is one of them. Fashion Week brings artists, designers, and audiences from across the world together in the name of art. However, the importance of Fashion Week cannot be expressed without first discussing its history.
3.1 Introduction: Fashion has been a very big part of people’s lives and it is also forever changing. Fashion shows started in the 19th century where Britain was on the first countries to host the first fashion shows. Finamore said “eventually a fashion play genre developed that revolved around the presentation of the latest couture creations” this also shows how the actual events started (Fibre2fashion.com, 2014) Since then there have been a lot of events which include the London Fashion week events. According to Dong Jun-lang (2010) the first person to create a fashion show was a British designer named CF Worth. The fashion shows have changed since then due to a lot of things being developed including technology, economic and commercial activities.
When shopping online or buying items of luxury brands such as fashion items or cosmetics items, and so on, you often hear the fake or super fake product. Many shoppers do not really know that they are buying fake goods, and they think they are buying cheap goods. Fake web pages are often filled with images and logos taken from the brand, besides, they also reduce the prices for the goods. Fake goods are products which copy from famous brands and the user cannot recognize, including the logo or the date of manufacture, the brand printed on the packaging.
The career I have chosen to research was a career that I was thought was glamorous and unique to the working industry, a Fashion Designer. Fashion designers create original clothing, accessories, and footwear(U.S Department of Labor). They sketch designs, select fabrics, and patterns, and give instructions on how to make the products they designed (U.S Department of Labor). I had chosen this career because being an artist and my passion for fashion had pushed me to mix both aspects of creativity and start drawing my own designs of apparel. The fact that I also love shopping, especially vintage and thrift store shopping. Shopping helps me to get inspired by vintage designs and how can I create a new feel and style to the modern fashion trends today.
The immediate rubric that comes to mind when evaluating the definition of “beauty” is as follows: tall, slim, captivating, and graceful. The world of fashion and publicity has undeniably been enriched by these seemingly expected traits, but to what avail? Tyra Banks, host and judge of the popular reality TV show Americas Next Top Model, is regarded as one of the most beautiful -and successful- women of all time. Her claim to fame began at the age of 15, as her picturesque disposition spread across the covers of GQ, Sports Illustrated, and Victoria’s Secret. She became an expert and “model” to the amateurs of the fashion world. Inevitably, women across the globe began to feign for an appearance mirroring what everyone admires: the epitome of beauty. However, when we take a step back, there is no ignoring the pressure of these heightened expectations. By examining the unfolding events within Tyra Banks’ twenty-two season television show Americas Next Top Model, we can reveal the detrimental impact imposed upon our definition of “beauty” by society’s unrealistic standards, and recognize how media significantly contributes to this cause.
In an age where fashion and technology is constantly evolving it is important that we take a step back and take a look at the current happenings in the promotional side of the fashion industry. The fashion show,a key tool to making designers collections accessible to its consumer, will be the main focus of this essay. We shall define fashion promotion before looking at how the catwalk sits under this title. A brief history of the fashion show shall lead us into the present day, where we shall begin the debate of whether some fashion shows need be as extravagant and expensive as they are. We will look at well known
