Well done instructor! You already created the modern syllabus for teaching First-year university students who come to study at Tennessee State University. The students’ obstacles with the cultural and academic aspects have not changed if you do not create the new curriculum. The Dean thank you for your contribution to solving the ELL students’ problems. How did you make this syllabus? Why did you choose to implement technology in the teaching components and students’

In English 1102 students will learn many different techniques throughout the course to understand and compose an analysis on an array of topics. After the course is over it is up to the students to apply what they have learned to everyday life. Many students throughout this course have questioned why they have to learn this material and that it will not even help them in the real world, but they are wrong. Each and everyday people should look at the deeper meaning and analyze situations very carefully or else one may find themselves being deceived. Being able to analyze is a very important skill no matter what career choice you choose. In this course the material assigned also had many life lessons in them. A great example of a reading assignment
Numerous of students from different states and portions of Georgia, and even around the world, has come to Georgia Southern University to intellectually grow and mature as an individual. I chose the FYE 1410: Global Health Nursing class to extended and further my knowledge about health around the globe. By the end of this course, I expect to learn various health related facts and achieve my learning goals as a student.
The main themes that run through the syllabus is connecting science and its explanations and connecting it to the ideas we have today, as well as incorporated science through history over the years and then questioning the unknown, opening new frontiers. In technology, we also refer to history and its influence on the economy and environmental factors that might influence the technology that we use today, as well as how we can improve/change those factors (incorporated with science) (Motshekga, 2011). The only difference in views that comes to play is when we compare our standards of science and technology to those of other countries/curriculums that might undergo different factors than us (Motshekga, 2011).
Is there ever an instance when a M.Ed. cohort student does not have to take EDUC 635? I have had 2 students, 1 reading and 1 C&I, call to ask if they need to take 635. The C&I student said his professor talked about 630 being different for those taking 635 and those not. The reading student said 635 did not show on her advising sheet, which it does on all the advising sheets I have. The first time I was asked the question, I assumed there was some confusion with the professor, but when I got the same question twice in 2 days it made me wonder if I had missed something.
In order to gain a better understanding of the role of a good syllabus in teaching, I present my critique of the syllabus of the course SOWK 732: Social work practice with organization and communities. Before starting the critique of the syllabus, it is necessary to review the purpose and characteristics of a syllabus. A syllabus is not only a contract between the instructor and students (Step to a good syllabus, n.d.; Cullen, 2013), but also an attempt to improve the learner-centered academic experience. With these purposes, I consider a good syllabus as one of the basic communication channels between the instructor and students. Thus, this communication channel should be clear, specific, and informative in the expectations, objectives, and
English 111 has been a great course so far. I have been learning new material that will help me to improve my comprehensive English skills, such as speaking, reading and writing. In this course, we have covered many topics that usually are not presented or introduced to students in younger agers. Sexual harassment is one of the sensitive topics that we have discussed in details. I personally did not fully know what is the true definition of sexual harassment and what form of actions or phrases that we could say that would considered to be forms of sexual harassments or harassments in general. During lectures, we have looked cases of sexual harassments and how we can educate ourselves and be aware of this issue that our communities facing. A question frequently heard among students, from elementary to college, is “when will I need to know this?”. No matter the class, there is always someone who believes the course does not pertain to them and is a waste of time and money. Myself, I remember thinking that very same thing of AP Calculus and later Statistics. As someone aspiring for a career in the health sciences, I assumed that a comprehensive education in the various math forms was superfluous. And though I love history, English, and art, I caught myself wondering if I would ever utilize such knowledge beyond that class. What I have realized, however, is that all knowledge gained by an individual can only work to their advantage. Furthermore, I believe that liberal arts courses
Week two of my classroom handbook will be of the topic problem solving skills used during conflict in the classroom. Kaiser and Rasminsky suggest a five step process that will effectively teach children at the early childhood level problem solving skills to last a life time. I will go over each step and then provide an example of what this process might look like in a classroom.
My understanding of a Syllabus, it is a document "that outlines a course policies," with all applicable knowledge in preparation for success in the course. (Eng. 111-805 Syllabus, pg1)
I believe that I deserve a solid A in English 250 because I have worked very hard in this course and learned many valuable information that will be useful later in my life. Especially this summer because I will be taking a speech class at a community college. I have grown in the learning aspect of this English course, but also in many other areas as well like speaking up in class which I don’t normally do in my other classes due to the number of students and I am just a shy person. Also in this course, I get to work with others in small groups and be a team player from participating in the group discussions and sharing my thoughts about a certain topic. I have been able to analyze many parts of grammar and resources that have urged me to further

The of the new semester I did not know what to expect because building or constructing stuff was never my expertise. Towards the end of fall semester I did contribute to the the play layout more than ever by designing the Corny Collins sign that is currently used in the play Hairspray. I did not know because last semester I was never involved with the construction of anything and I did not know about this new semester. I started off the semester not good because Dr. Sannah caught me not doing work sometimes, but he did not know that I was already done with my work. He wanted students to be more involved in this year play than las semesters and I wanted to contribute more in this play than last semester.
When I signed up for LIS 6080, I honestly thought I was not going to learn much because I use computers a lot. I was wrong. I found that this course, with the textbook, discussions with fellow classmates, and the Professor, I learned a lot that I can build upon and use as an information professional. Libraries are becoming leaders in new technologies as they integrate new web and mobile technologies for its users. With these new technologies, information professionals will need to understand these technologies, to provide assistance for these technologies, and to be prepared to interact with patrons using these technologies. LIS 6080 is the course that has set the foundation for my future career as an information professional. This course
This assignment is based on research from data collected from the upper intermediate group of students. From the research completed with students, (appendices A) the majority are in the age group of 30 -40, with only a couple aged 18-20. They are a mixed ability group; some of the students are very fluent in English language, and very confident in practising their language skills, whereas others less so. Their interests are varied; however there are some common themes that they share as a group: many enjoy physical activity, going to the gym, participating in sports, and walking. There are also quite a few students with young children, who all enjoy spending time with their families.
