My favorite fitness activity of PES 111 is yoga. This activity can extends my body. I keep doing yoga every week. Yoga can lead me to find peaceful in my mind. After I begin to do yoga activity, my flexibility have the great improvement. It makes me feel amazing. The least favorite fitness activity is weight activity. I am a woman, this fitness activity is make me feel tired. I think the weight fitness equipment cannot make me to improve my ability. Totally, I am interest in different fitness activities increase since the beginning of the semester. Because collective motion with other student. Such as football, Frisbee game. It therefore could make people have a good mood and recharge themselves to fight against stress (Elizabeth, 2011).
My fitness level may decrease when I got to college because I will no longer be constantly competing on a track or cross country team.To adapt to these new conditions and prevent my fitness level from decreasing, I will find time and activities that fit into my new schedule. I will continue my athleticism by running every morning before college classes or work. Also, I will become a member at a local gym to play sports and take exercise classes I will enjoy.
I observed two different unique professions relating to the exercise science field over the course of the Fall 2015 semester as required by the Introduction to Exercise Science course offered here at SIUE. I picked professions that interested me, and based it on if I could see myself going into it after graduation from this program.

With the wide variety of Iowa State University students on and off campus everyone has different opinions on exercising at the Lied Recreational Athletic Facility. Since the workout facility is easily accessible for me, I choose to take time out of my day to work out every day. This electrifying change in my daily routine has altered my college experience and time management skills because while I’m exercising it gives me the opportunity to relieve all the stress I encountered during the day. Even with all the school the work I have experienced so far it keeps me on my toes when I have to balance education with the amount of time I want to spend at the gym. Also, by me going to the gym it keeps me in shape for sports and extra-circular activities that I want to engage in. I played basketball, football, and baseball my entire life and now that I have all this free time it really gives me time to focus on some of the hobbies I have more than ever before.
For those who participate in college athletics or keep to a strict workout schedule, exercise seems like a given aspect of life at Furman. The Physical Activities Center circulates students and others from the community throughout the entire day. Wellness workout classes instruct students how to use machines and create workout regimens. These are marks of a healthy lifestyle, and you may notice that your friends and roommates who workout tend to get sick less often. Maybe they always beat the common cold, or maybe they avoid flu season entirely. Exercise has been linked to health benefits and has proven to help the immune system fight off infections. Not only will working out make your everyday life less stressful, it will fill up your schedule, make you more social, and overall improve your well being in how you look and feel.
Fitness is something every college student struggles with. With the high levels demanded of college students, such as research papers, group projects, assignments, jobs, and overall lack of sleep it can become very difficult to find the time to workout or be active. Student like to be active thought because it helps put them in a better mood. They are able to relax and have more energy. If students come in with a plan though they are more likely to stick to their routine and maintain their workout plan. It also helps to have a person to workout with. This allows for both individuals to motivate each other to stay on their workout routine, this especially helps for women. Generally though, by setting your mind to staying fit, you will not only see the benefits physically, but it will also help individuals set goals that are achievable in life and help maintain their stress level (Whelan, 2016).
Why this is important to my academic success: Creating a weekly exercise schedule is invaluable because I am prone to burnout and workaholism in my career. As a student with high self-expectations and goals, I want to ensure that I am working at my best and optimal performance. If my health is less than adequate physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually then I am less likely to yield high returns on my academic investments. Thus, daily exercise and above average nutrition (and sleep) help to ensure I maintain a balance of my personal and academic goals.
I am very dedicated to opening student’s eyes to show them how something as simply as physical activities can change their lives. Giving students confidence to be anything they want in life but it starts inside their bodies first.

College life is a time full of fun, friends, activities, classes, and homework. All of these activities however, add up to a busy life style. Being busy is not in itself harmful but when the busyness becomes so great that it turns into stress, problems start to arise. The formation of stress leads to many unhealthy trends, such as lack of sleep, loss of immunity to disease, and a change in personality traits. How then can stress in the busy lives of college students be reduced? The answer is a simple one that has long been known; exercise relieves stress. Colleges across the country need to implement a program of required exercise classes to promote the well being of students.
Some people thought why is sport activates so important, and it is essential or not? Some people think that sport is not important to be part in our life because they think it just waste of our time. However, it is a very important step to keep students moving and have a very good lifestyle and a healthy one. Having a sport class gives students that do not have any confidence in their abilities a push to move out of their comfort zone. It can also show their talents in the sports world, people should realize that sports class is very important to involve in a normal class daily schedule. Schools should force students to move and join the sports class for two main reasons, the first reason is that teenagers could show their hidden talents, also improve their health and help them stay in shape.
