I taught myself to use the Blender program to personally design that computer generated model. My senior project reveals how I love to solve problems and to experience new programs that initially may seem daunting. 500 word max I feel as though I am a favorable match for WPI’s distinctive educational and campus experiences because, firstly, WPI has the best Computer Science program in its division. WPI has many opportunities for internships and employment in some outstanding companies. This demonstrates how I can be almost guaranteed some type of job or internship somewhere in the future. WPI also provides world-class laboratories that will assist me in mastering my chosen field. I am Malia Josephson and I am in 7th-grade at Talbert Middle School. I enjoy learning about science and math. I am in the STEAM academy at Talbert, although I am not in the STEAM elective. Instead of the elective, I am in the advanced band. I am also in accelerated math where I will have learned all of the 7th-grade math standards, as well as half of the eighth grade standards by the end of this year.
“What! No! Why!?” Without a doubt, these words have been exalted by many candidates during the competitive transfer process at UW-Madison. Although I was denied transfer admission, I cannot but respect the decision I was given. However, I believe that UW-Madison has not seen the full extent of me. This was by far the most challenging course that I have encountered while obtaining my Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from UCMO. That is not a negative comment as this course has actually impacted me professionally more than any other course I’ve taken to date. This course has taken more time to complete the assignments, more of my attention to detail, and more of my creativity. The last point was the best part about this course. I consider myself to be fairly creative and this course definitely allowed me to do that while bringing my somewhat odd personality to a professional forum. For this I am grateful. At UW-Madison, there are thousands of students attending classes there. With all of these students, the class is larger, allowing me to meet people that share a common interest with me. This allows for friendships to start, some of which, could even last a lifetime. To me, Case Western Reserve University symbolizes everything that an individual could, and should, want to be a part of. World-renowned academic excellence, top notch facilities, and an unmatched commitment to its students are all things that make Case Western Reserve University a dream institution. For the longest, the only thing I knew about Case was its undergraduate programs. As I was getting ready to apply undergraduate programs, I received numerous brochures and letters from the institution filled with information. In the end, I decided to stay closer to home for family reasons.
My initial interest was through the academic program, but what peaked provocation is the mission statement. I admire that an apparent goal is to learn from each other as community members and also from industry leaders. I think it is important to learn from each other, as your peers are sometimes the people you learn the most from. Additionally, I was pleased that students learn from people actively in their field of study. My favorite part of the mission statement is that students work to break the boundaries on real world issues. Many of the classes and activities I have been apart of in high school touch on this part of the mission statement; I think it is the most important part. There is no point in being educated if it is not to better the world in a positive way and I appreciate that at Syracuse that journey, to relate and impact the real world begins as a student. In my opinion, UW-Green Bay is a perfect fit for me because of my personal skills and traits. I have always been a natural leader among my peers, and I have always been willing to help anyone in need. I respect every person I see with the same respect that I would prefer back, and I never give up when times get tough. I love both watching and playing athletics, meeting new people and creating new relationships, and thinking critically when problems ever arise. I am applying to the UWM, because it's a large school with outstanding credentials, a strong community and lots of school spirit. This is exactly what I'm looking for for in my college environment - a large population where I can meet new people every day, get involved in many activities, and build relationships with my professors. I also look forward to living in snow again - I moved from Denmark to California a few years ago, and I miss the winter weather!

After my laborious search, I concluded that UGA was the best fit based on the core values explained in the statement. Right off the bat, the word citizenship jumped out at me. Whether it be community service, sports, or clubs, to me, being truly involved in the community is paramount. While taking part in these activities, I am able to prove myself as a leader and a role model in society. For instance, I am a mentor for twelve freshman students, helping them through the huge transition from middle school to high school. In doing this, I am able to set a good example and show my school spirit. With these experiences and my passion and enthusiasm for a positive influence, I plan to make the already great UGA community even better through citizenship. In my most recent session of my college skills class, a little under a week ago, I took an assessment called ACT engage. Within seconds of submitting the test, it gave results that calculated my personal, behavioral and academic skills. These skills being measured are ones that are a necessity to a successful college education, such as: study skills, commitment, social connection, goal striving, communication, discipline, steadiness and academic self-confidence. These results are displayed in a graph, followed by written explanations of each skill and how much I am involved in each skill.
