Looking at a child’s personal characteristics, demographics, and genealogy in order to predict how susceptible he/she is important research. With this information, we as a society can help those that are more likely to become criminals at an early age. The use of technology can streamline this data and help us predict criminal behavior quicker and more accurately. As defined by Haag, S., & Cummings, M. (2013), “a neural network is an artificial intelligence system that is capable of finding and differentiating patterns”. Neural networks can be applied in this situation to identify, classify, and predict the susceptibility of becoming a criminal.
A neural network’s accuracy depends on the data provided to the network. In this case, in order

Although genealogy is important it is also trickier to predict something as severe as criminal behavior. The fact that a kid is left vs right handed or has blue eyes vs brown eyes, does not accurately predict criminal behavior. But other inherited characteristics could contribute. For example, children predisposed to inheriting a learning disability should be recognized by the neural network. As stated above, education is a key demographic and if a child has a hard time learning, then they may be at risk of committing crime. Again, these characteristics are a lot more difficult to account for and should only be part of the neural network to improve accuracy of results.
In conclusion, neural networks in this situation can be used to identify, classify, and predict the susceptibility of a child becoming a criminal. However, the results and accuracy of the prediction are only as good as the data provided to the network. In order for a neural network to help predict criminal tendencies of a child, it must include personal characteristics, demographics, and genealogy. With this information, we as a society can help those that are more likely to become criminals at an early age and reverse the trend of crime in the
What drew you into the world of genealogy? Was it an old family Bible? The passing of an older family member? A family legend passed down that you couldn’t quite prove? Many of us became genealogists because of our interest in the lives of our ancestors. We want to know their stories, and the more we learn, the more we want to know. And that’s the thing about genealogy—you can do it your whole life, because there’s always more to learn. There’s always more out there to discover. But have you thought
discussing Jesus' genealogy and this generated much controversy in the Christian world. While Matthew focused on discussing in regard to genealogy from Jesus to Abraham, Luke concentrated on relating to it from Jesus to Adam. Even with this, both individuals provided the same account when considering the lineage lasting from Abraham to David. One of the most intriguing concepts pointing toward the belief that the two religious individuals actually discuss different genealogies is the fact that Matthew
Background to Biblical Genealogies If you Google “genealogy”, you will quickly realize that this is a BIG topic of interest today. Dozens of web sites pop up with names like “familysearch”, “familytree”, familylink, ancestry.com and so many more. Researching our ‘roots’, developing family trees, perhaps even finding unknown distant relatives – this seems to be a very popular pastime on the Internet. If you are like me, when you get to genealogies in the Bible, your speed-reading skills kick in
“Only one “white” was listed.”* In 1976 a suit regarding nearly 16,000 acres of land went to the federal court in Mashpee. The trial set out to determine whether the group, called the Mashpee Indians, constituted an Indian tribe. James Clifford’s The Predicament of Culture includes a section on this trial. This Mashpee section provoked questions in my mind about identity, authenticity, race, and ethnicity. With the transcript and his own court notes, Clifford describes the trial as best he can, as
Searching for family, what a trip. Those who are new on the genealogy journey can find it to be a roller coaster ride with pits of doubtful or erroneous data. Each piece of genealogy information you get you need to verify and validate, if not, you could be travelling down the wrong path. This trip can be depressing and devastating, especially if you copy another's genealogical tree taking their information at face value. The genealogists who have been on the genealogical train for one or many
Genealogy In The Torah The idea of recording one’s family history and understanding genealogical descent is an integral part of the Torah, which includes 477 genealogical records. The Prophets and other books of the Bible include 2,756 genealogical records. And Divrei Hayamim (Chronicles) is almost entirely concerned with genealogy. Yikhus (lineage) has always been an integral part of Judaism. In the opening chapters of the Bible, in the weekly Torah portion, the concept of recording the history
William Bassett, survived so much: his father’s demise, being brought to America, and wars against Indians. Only then did he live to see his children, the third generation, destroyed by the Salem Witchcraft Hysteria of 1692. “Three of William and Sarah’s twelve children were touched by the Salem Witch Hysteria prosecution” (“Bassett Family Genealogy” 6). Additionally, Elizabeth’s grandmother, Ann Holland Bassett Burt, was a Quaker, a midwife and an accused witch. On April 1, 1674, Elizabeth
In the United States, DNA testing is mostly associated with criminal investigations and pop culture. In the police detective procedural TV series CSI, the sequencing of DNA from evidence collected at crime scenes takes center stage. In the American workplace, cafeteria conversation often veers into the merits of using DNA testing during the hiring and retention process. The modern applications of DNA testing go far beyond CSI and drug screening for work purposes. When a DNA test Cicero is ordered

In this essay I will analyze and differentiate two completely contrasting legacies left behind by Cain and Seth, the descendants of Adam and Eve. Reflecting on the point in time where Eve appointed eponyms for her children, their very names conceptualized a foreshadowing of this apparent contrast. In Hebrew, Cain means ‘spear' and Seth means ‘anointed’ or ‘granted’ a name that alludes to Eve’s utterance found in Genesis 4:25, “God has granted me another child in the place of Abel since Cain killed
where they are going, and so on. But will the message get through? The answer: not always. How do we change this? There are all kinds of ideas about how to get kids excited about history but as a lover of genealogy, allow me to share with you, my biased opinion. I think the answer is genealogy. What would happen if we took some time to look at our family tree with our kids? I understand there are situations where it might be
had attained such knowledge without studying. Jesus was a great teacher because he proved to be a greater teacher than Moses; who delivered the 10 commandments. He wanted to help people learn about God, Jesus loved grown-ups, but he loved children too. And children liked to be with Jesus because he would talk to them and listen to them. Jesus teaches vital truths and sets a perfect example for Christians today. He becomes the centre of Christians lives and with him as a Teacher Christianity has spread

I am really interested specifically with emotional genealogy, as our awareness of previous generations impacts the traits we inherit. For
