Have you ever studied or learned anything about Gladiators, or even how we study them? Gladiators were people who fought in the Roman Empire. In this essay I'm going to inform you on how Gladiators fought, some tools used to help find ancient clues, and some recent discoveries about them. Understand that gladiators fought long long ago, from 27 B.C. To 393 A.D., so the discoveries you learn about in this essay are very precious to ancient history. According to “Gladiator University,” archaeologists found this school not from digging, but using specific tools. One tool they used was named aerial photography, it was taken from aircraft and has a ground penetrating radar. Not only did they use that tool, but they used an electromagnetic sensor that can locate hidden bricks underground. In my opinion, that tool would help the most. In the last paragraph, I told you how archeologists recently discovered an almost complete school where the Gladiators used to train at. They discovered the school in 2011 in an ancient city of Carnuntum. It was a really big school that was built in the second century. It had cell blocks, a bath complex, and a training arena. This school may not have only been the biggest one, but also the first school made especially for Gladiators. Gladiators are a really cool topic to study or learn about. The school that's been found recently, there's no telling how many famous Gladiators stepped foot on that ground I doubt there are any Gladiators are around anymore, but that doesn't mean we can't learn about all the cool things they used to do. I hope you learned some new things you may not have before reading this. Remember, just because these kind of events only existed in ancient times, it doesn't mean it's not worth learning
