Three main reasons why you should go to college after high school is first you more professional when applying for a job, next you can meet more people and socialize, lastly is self discovery. First reason why you should go to college after high school is because of future opportunities. When applying for a job you wanna look your best and you want to look professional and experienced at whatever you want to do. In college you will meet new people and they will offer you help in many ways. Say you were really struggling in a class like chemistry if your friend was good in chemistry he or she could be of great aid. The friends you make in college is bonds that could be for life possibly. Say you need a ride to your job you call your friend from college that you always hang with and they could be helpful. Also, you could find out what you really wanna do with your life. Going to college after high school you will know what career you want you want pursue. Unlike not going to college and your confused unless you want to go to the military or you want to work at target for the rest of your life. While going to college can help you succeed in life, it is not for everyone. Some people already know what they want to do after high school and don’t need a college education to accomplish it. On the other hand, others do attend college to find what they want to do and it just ends up being a waste of time and money. College should not be required for every high school graduate.

Many high school students struggle on the fact whether or not should they attend college after high school or not. Going to college comes with many benefits. In a magazine that TRiO gave me I found five reasons why you should go to college. 1) Earn more money, on average, someone with a college degree earns $1,100 a week, when someone with only a high school diploma only earns $638 a week. 2) Better health, studies continue to show people who pursue higher education tend to have a healthier life, both physically and mentally. 3) More opportunity, graduating from college increases your future career choices and provides you with essential skills and training for today’s workforce. 4) Build connections, college opens doors for you to make lifelong friendships and network through classmates and professors. 5) Better future for your family, by attending college you are setting examples and opening doors for your future children to follow in. After high school students have the opportunity to attend a college. Today, it seems like fewer people go to college. People will say “It’s too expensive or I don’t have the time” however that's just not the case, in my opinion, college is worth it because if someone is seeking a long-term job with security, mobility, and pay increase must attend college. Having the degree is better than not having one at all.
