Why is college important to you? College is important to me because I see the many opportunities that it will provide for me that will not be provided if I do not attend. As a minority and a low-income student opportunity is limited. The support of college and a degree, provides many options and possibilities that I do not receive on a daily basis. Many of the people from my community are working just to pay the bills, however I want to find a career, explore the world and give back and I believe that college will give me those opportunities to do so. Attending college, also give me the chance to meet new people from the world and learn about them and how their world has shaped their live and the circumstances that led them into college. In the article, Is College Worth It? Clearly, New Data Says, by David Landoldt, he states reasons why college is the best fit and the benefits that college offers to its graduates. He briefly talks about the financial support that college graduates receive after college and connects it to individuals who have not received a degree. In the article, Why college isn’t for everyone, explained in a single chart, by Chris Matthews, he states the downfalls of college and explains that some individuals are simply wasting their time in college. He also explains that it is uncertain for students to receive the correct materials from college.

A college degree is important for a variety of reasons for both the young and the old, namely to develop or improve one’s trade skills, to experience different cultures and to increase one’s educational background in order to attain a higher paying job. For me, a college degree is important because it will help me to attain the educational background I need to make myself more marketable in the ever changing workforce. It will also provide me with the confidence and skills needed to apply for a better paying job or aid me in attaining the ever elusive promotion, if I so desire.

When I finished junior high school I enrolled in a training program to teach elementary students in some of the most remote regions of Mexico. I was excited about the prospect of teaching reading, writing, and mathematics to underprivileged students in areas of my country that needed education more than anything else to bring them into the modern era. I had seen the difference a few good teachers had made in my life. It was one of my earliest ideas to help the youth in my country rise above the limitations of their past and see the possibilities available to them with hard work in school.

I believe college is very important I interviewed my mom, she didn’t go to college and she says she wishes she did, “ I wanted to go but we didn’t have enough money”. I asked her why she thinks people need college and this is what she said, “You need college to be more successful and to be prepared for life and mentally.” Some people may not have gone to college for any reason but they probably wanted to go. College is also good and important because you meet new people and you make new friends, also you get closer to your family. One more reason is because you earn more money. You also get to grow as a person and mentally. But an even better thing is you have a bigger chance of always having a job and losing it and you have a bigger chance of changing the world maybe with a little or big thing you do.

Briefly, in my opinion, i believe attending college is important because it develops and grows a person in mind, social skills, and technical skills. Everyone wants to be paid handsomely, college is a stepping stool to just that. As the first generation of my family member attend college. I understand the value of higher education and how it would impact my life. College education gives me the opportunity to explore new ideas, improve critical thinking, and enhance my skills. It is the gateway to better options and a chance to succeed in life.

College education is important to me because it is going to give me an opportunity to provide a better life for my family and I. A lot of people believe this is the best course of action to take to better their future. A student in the UK- Kelly Stewart agrees saying “My education is important to me because it’s the platform for my future endeavors, success and aspirations.”

College is important to me because of the fact that it will allow me to reach my full potential. It will help me obtain the job I want and have the things I like. Also, because without a college education the likelihood of success is very slim. College will not only benefit me but it will also benefit those around me. It will enable me to help my family.

College is important to me because of one main reason. I want to attend college because I do not want to end up like my parents or like people from my community. I see how my parents struggle day by day to pay the rent or bills. I see how my own classmates make wrong decisions

Why is college so important? A few years ago, most people only obtained their high school diploma and would receive any job in the market, but colleges have become the twenty-first century key to success. Jobs are now being given to those who are more educated and college provides this extra education. It is not the same as high school. High school education consists of a more general knowledge, which is a small amount of information about all the topics, but college is focused on the major. College graduates have more comprehension in their area than those with a high school diploma. As President Theodore Roosevelt once said, “A man who has never gone to school may steal from a freight car; but if he has a university education, he may steal the whole railroad.” (Chicago Tribute). His point is that the more educated a person is; the higher goals they can obtain. College is the best way to succeed because it provides more education about deeper knowledge and moral value. It also opens up more job opportunities, and practical knowledge about the discipline and enlightened understanding.

Why college education is important for me? I think College education is important because it is a midterm of my life. I am the first child from my family who will attend college. I think this is a difficult challenge for me. In order to be successful in life, I will study hard for the sake of my college degree. That will be the most greatest acheivement in my entire life. Four things that help me approach my college experience are engagement, sketch, change attitudes, and consistency.
