Throughout her time in Wolf Hollow, Betty does many bad things, including bullying Annabelle. First, Annabelle says “Betty swung the stick in a small, tight arc.
There are approximately only 150,000 gray wolves left in the world today, but the numbers are steadily decreasing because of us humans. The gray wolf is a strong and very powerful animal seeing as it has large canine teeth, powerful jaws, keen senses, and they have the power to pursue their prey at up to 37 miles per hour. Contrary to their name the gray wolf comes in all colors from black, pure white, and also a brownish red which can cause confusion between between them and coyotes. You can tell the coyote and wolf apart because the gray wolf has round ears and a broad snout. The gray wolf can live up to more than twelve years while protected but while unprotected they can only live up to seven or eight.

Wolves have always been a symbol of the wild, free in spirit and roamers of the land. These animals are considered majestic and protectors of the wilderness. They have always roamed the western United States, although their population has fluctuated over time. Over the past 10 years wolf reintroduction into Yellowstone National Park has been a controversial topic to those of the United States. As of 1995, wolves have been reintroduced into the park. This has come with some strong opposition and yet has prevailed. The future of the wolf in Yellowstone park is now looking bright, although not certain since there still are those who want them banished again.

Over the course of the past few weeks, students have presented topics regarding pollution and endangerment of species. However, one of the three most interesting topics for me was the red wolf. This name is very peculiar, for you would expect it to be more scientific. However, it’s sad story just makes the name look irrelevant. The red wolf has been hunted down by early settlers, making it’s wildlife population to be fourteen. That is shocking, for this unique animal is suffering because of our needs. However, the thing that caught my eye was not it’s dire situation, but the fact that people are working to help this animal thrive. The Red Wolf Recovery Program oversees the health of this animal. Now, they are breeding them in captivity and

Directed by Actor, first time director, Kevin Costner this 1990 film takes place in the northern states of the US. Costner’s movie is based on a book written by Michael Blake, by the same title. The story is about a union army lieutenant and a Lakota Indian tribe, which Costner changes to a Sioux tribe. In order for Kevin Costner to complete the filming of this movie, and due to unforeseen delays, he paid out of his own pocket $3 million dollars to complete the film. The actor stars in, directs, and produces this film. I believe Costner felt that he completely must take full ownership of it and do what was best for his film. In the end, it paid off, the movie grossed well over $400 million and won numerous awards.
I have a ticket in my hand. I can go anywhere in the world, see anything or meet anyone. The world has an abundance of cities and beautiful views. For what? A temporary ease to reality? Magical places filled with superficial smiles materialistically caused to cover up the evil within the country. So where would I go?
