In the Guitar Recital performed by Western Illinois University jazz band members, I felt it was another great performance. Understanding the last concert was amazing, I was confident that this show would not disappoint. H was located in COFAC recital hall around the time of 7:30pm. From the start of the show it was tremendous. I felt that the performers gave the audience a good bright sound of how jazz guitar is played. There were multiple musical piece performed that were good selections by the band. One of the songs that was very well displayed was “Christmas Time is Here”. With this song came a well-performed solo from pianist Matt Goodwin. He did a fine job appealing to the crowd’s holiday spirit, seeing that the holiday season

East Carolina’s Concert band and Symphonic band performed on Tuesday, February 16, at seven thirty in the evening in Wright Auditorium. Being a duel performance it included over a hundred of my talented East Carolina peers led by outstanding band Directors Dr. Juchniewicz and Dr. Staub. Along with great students and Directors, the show incorporated a beautiful trombone solo performed by a fellow colleague. Although I have never attended a concert where such style of music was being performed, I did enjoy the music being played and most of them sounded as if I heard them before. The professionalism the students portrayed and maintain to the audience was breathtaking and made me honored to be their peers.

In this Vocal Jazz concert, there was packed and a lot of audiences who were friends, family and students come to support and enjoy before this semester ended. Overall, this was a good show and I found that Vocal Jazz was much more fun and enjoyable than the first two. In this concert, I enjoyed every pieces of performance and there were three pieces that caught my attention, which were “Hold On”,
During the Christian era, authors such as Saint Augustine, Dante, and Marie de France focused on the importance and significance of God enacting true and ultimate justice upon people based on the circumstances that they are in. Authors like this allow the origins of justice to have a true beginning, and there is less debate about it being right because people believe that God’s motives are always pure and true. A person has to allow God to enter and be the focus of their life, in order to believe that situations where just action is necessary. This motion of getting closer to God is the way that people are then able to fully understand justice. This is because God is justice in the world, and He places in one’s life so that they have the capability to find it. In Confessions, it takes Saint Augustine time to progress to a state where he has been instilled with justice, and it is only then that he realizes God’s true justice. When people are put in situations that they have no control over, God is who they turn to because he will always make the right choices, and take the right action that is just and necessary. Therefore, people rely on God to be, and carry out, the justice that they want to see in their lives.

The date was December 8th, 2017, I had the pleasure of seeing the Saddleback College Jazz Combos perform at the McKinney Theater. The theater is quite large holding about 100~200 seats but seemed to offer a good acoustic balance for the combos that played. Also, one can tell that it was the holiday season by just entering the theater. It was festive as it was decorated with christmas trees with christmas lights and the front was filled with light up flower vases. Furthermore, this concert is a cumulation of different jazz students put into small groups and perform in front of an audience. This concert also showcases their efforts as a group as well as differences in skill level amongst the combos.
I would like to do my Researched Argument Essay on the topic of vaccinations for dogs, more specifically, the importance of leptospirosis vaccination, what are the symptoms of a dog that had been affected by this disease, and how relevant is lepto vaccine to human. On Thursday April 25, 2013 , I attended a jazz vocal concert at the Music Concert Hall. The first vocal ensemble opened up the performance with a slow rhythmic song called Blue Skies. It began with vocals and I noticed a light auxiliary percussion and drum rhythm. Also, the bass guitarist used walking bass and the piano and electric guitar joined in as well. The first song also consisted of two soloist Regina and Chantel who took the front stage to show off their chops. After the solo performances they fell back into the vocal sections and finished off the song as a complete band. The second performance had a piano opening which led to vocals joining in at the same time as the rhythm section. This performance
Capital punishment is the death penalty, which results from committing capital crimes like espionage, treason and murder. According to Robert Dunham, the death penalty dates back to when the European settlers came to the United States, and captain George Kendall was the first to be executed in 1612. During that time, the death penalty was also practiced on criminals with minor offenses such as; stealing and killing animals etc. Death penalty before this time was carried out through crucifixion, drowning, burning alive, beating to death. After the tenth century, hanging became the usual method of execution. The United States of America also executed people with serious mental problems before 2002. According to CNN database, “1,419 people were executed since 1976 while more than 3,200 inmates await execution.” The death penalty varies between states, race and even gender.
