There are a lot of different opinions on gun control. Some people think we should have gun control and strongly support it. I for one am not one of those people. I strongly believe that gun control would not work. With or without guns people are going to continue being violent. The government can reduce shootings deaths by imposing restrictions that are common sense on gun access that does not violate the Second Amendment. My opinion on gun control is that it is not going to work and why do something that will obviously be ineffective. I would definitely say that I don’t lean more towards controlling gun ownership or towards protecting the rights of Americans to own guns because my opinion is that neither will work. People are going to have guns whether they are told they can or not. There are many people who are capable of obtaining guns without having to go through any kind of legal process. There are crimes being committed by criminals who don’t obey the law and those criminals using guns to commit their crimes are not going to follow any kind gun control law just like they don’t follow any other law.
