Gun Control Research Paper

For my research paper i will be writing and telling you about gun control. I will also be discussing three main points, which are how we use guns for self defense/protection, gun ownership, and also the wrongs and rights. I think it is wrong for them to try to take our guns, if they do people might riot and we lose our protection, what do you think?

Gun control is a controversial issue for a long time around the world, particularly in U.S. because of a lots of mass shooting in school and public places. The second Amendment of the U.S. constitution is one of the shortest in all of the bill of right, it was written by the time period of American’s birth and it is the spirit of self-defense that help the new citizens of U.S. win their own freedom from the British. But now as the gun shooting problem happening every day in America, this gun control problem has gradually become to a hot issue. Americans having to use their guns that frequently is not the ideal situation, but without having guns once every thirteen seconds a person would die from an act of violence. Gun control is a law that controls how guns are sold and used, and who can own them. Allowing people to possess and use a gun with legal documents in the United States is legal. There have been arguments on whether or not is should be legal to own a gun as some people see it as beneficial and others do not. It is believed that guns are beneficial to have, and they are there because we need to be able to protect ourselves. We should not allow the government to have power over gun control for many reasons including the loss of tradition of hunting, not being able to protect ourselves, and simply because of the second amendment.

ProCon.org recently featured an article that studied gun control. “Stricter state gun laws associated with fewer gun deaths, study finds.” The article discussed gun control laws in states with stricter laws tend to have lower rates of gun related homicides, and a suicide (ProCon para. 1) Gun control in the United States is becoming a wide spread issue and is becoming a problem everywhere. Although I am living in a city with uprising crime that has been skyrocketing over the years, I wasn’t aware of this being an issue all over the United States. The right to bear arms dates back to the second amendment.Guns do not kill people-; it is the people who are behind the guns. Gun control laws infringe upon the right of self-defense and deny people their sense of safety. The police cannot protect everyone and they will not always be there when people need safety. The pro gun control debate is sided by the more liberal organizations. Whether they are conspicuously discernible organizations for gun control, or even just more liberal news sources, be sure you ken their political standing afore taking their data as whole truth. Even an organization such as NPR cannot be held as 100% reliable, because of their generally liberal agendas. The gun control debate facts for the anti control side are just as suspect. Again, the NRA and its constituents are perhaps the most vocal in this debate. But generally any Republican or right-wing organization is going to have some remotely investment in keeping gun control down. Firearms in the United States have always been very controversial, no matter what regulations we have put in the past, there is always something new. When a firearm is found at a crime scene, it is most likely the weapon or one of the weapons used to commit the crime or a killing. Firearms evidence is usually encountered in crimes against persons such as homicide, assault and robbery; but may also be found in other crimes such as burglary, rape, and narcotics violations. The first step into processing the firearm would be taking pictures and videos of the area and position the firearm was found at. The firearm is not to be touched with any bare hands or moved before pictures are taken. Safety is always the first concern if a gun or firearm goes off on anyone if the safety isn’t on. If the firearm is considered or known to be unloaded, it may be picked up with gloves on, and transported safely where it needs to go. If it is loaded, it should then be unloaded, with care taken to preserve all types of possible evidence.
