The Han Dynasty, dating from 206 BCE-220 AD, was founded by Liu Bang who was the winner of the civil wars that followed the collapse of the first Imperial dynasty in China (Qin Dynasty). The Han dynasty is considered an influential empire that created a spiritually and philosophically enlightened nation through the teachings of Daoism, Legalism and Confucianism. At the time that Liu Bang first founded the Han dynasty the basic structures of the Qin state were retained, and the ideology of the Qin state initially drifted deeper and deeper into a Legalist and Daoist union. Many elements of these ancient philosophies can be distinguished in the religious and superstitious beliefs and practices that were performed in Han China. The implementation of these three philosophies during a time of political corruption, and spiritual chaos helped to create an overall calmer and intellectual society. The philosophical and spiritual movement of this time and in turn shaped modern religions, state ethics and beliefs.

Synopsis Chinese culture has been evolving for more than one thousand years with one of the most significant influences being the development of the Han dynasty. This paper analyses the ways in which the development of the Han dynasty influenced Chinese culture and to what extent. Knowledge of the Han period’s impact on Chinese culture, is obtained through the analysis of written and archaeological sources depicting the Western Han dynasty (206 B.C.–9 A.D) and Eastern Han dynasty (25–220 A.D). Research related to Chinese art and literature was conducted in order to gain information on how they evolved as a result of the Han dynasty. The United States will suffer an economic catastrophe when China stops purchasing U.S. government bonds because the U.S. government will not be able to pay its bills. According to Morgan Housel of the investment community, “China has indeed been a prolific buyer of U.S. debt over the past decade; in 2000, Mainland China owned less than $60 billion of Treasury debt [and] by 2010, it owned more than $1 trillion, surpassing Japan as America 's largest foreign creditor.” It is hard to imagine that such a world power like the United States needs any assistance from others. For years it has been speculated that without the help of China buying U.S debt, they will be in a huge deal of problems. That is extremely exaggerated being that the U.S. have many other investors but it is important to note that China is a very huge part of our economic success. Without the help of China we can truly look forward to higher interest rates, higher inflation and crowding out private investment. I do agree that the United States needs China in order to maintain a stable economy. With out the help of China’s investments the America’s economy will become weaken by the impending high interest rates, inflation, high unemployment rates, decrease in productivity, a decline in the stock market and a country where its citizens highly rely on their help of the government.

During the long era of Chinese Dynasties, three School of Thoughts emerged as philosophers spread their knowledge across the empires. Although each of the three philosophers that founded these School of Thoughts were able to alter the ways of the people’s beliefs, one in particular had ideals that over time, were powerful enough to change the ways of the Chinese culture, and eventually the world. Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, focused on spreading his political and ethical views based on how “humans should act in harmony with the universe” ( World History 91), and the effect of this would allow their society to blossom. As word of the practice of Confucianism spread, the Chinese empires began to adapt to new changes that this school of thought taught, and overtime, the government, and lives of the Chinese began to revolve around the Confucian

Task 1: The decline/ fall of the Han Dynasty was around 189 to 220 A.D. What was happening was the dynasty was falling apart. Lots of different groups were fighting for the role of the leader.Which completely destroyed the Han dynasty. Also the families were struggling which did not help either. Another philosophy that is present during the rule of the Han Dynasty is Confucian ideals. China is the world’s most populated country with the population of 1.3 billion people. Since there were so many people in China they had to think about a way to control population so this is where the one-child policy was made. It officially restricts married, urban couples to having only one child, while allowing exemptions for several cases, including twins. This policy was introduced in 1978 and initially applied to first-born children from 1979. The policy is enforced at the local level through fines that are imposed based on the income of the family and other factors.

The difference between the United States and China are pronounced, and they merit rigorous examination.
