Romanian Revolution- One of the bloodiest revolutions began in the city of Timisoara, Romania, where a protest by the parishioners of an unknown Calvinist (a type of Reformed tradition, Reformed Christianity or the Reformed faith and is a major branch of Protestantism that follows the theological tradition and forms of the Christian practice of John Calvin) pastor somehow exploded into the nationwide revolt that lasted nine days. In those nine days the revolt shoved Romania's megalomaniacal ruling couple, Nicolae and Elena Ceausescu, in front of a firing squad. Image 2: The Velvet Revolution- also known as the “Gentle Revolution” because it was a non-violent transition of power in Czechoslovakia. The period of disturbance and the transition took place from around November 16 to December 29, 1989. Demonstrations against the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia was combined effort from many different people. Soon the wall started being enforced with concrete, then there was two fences, then they added attack dogs and watch towers to keep people from escaping etc. People continued to risk their lives just to escape to their freedom but in November 9, 1989, the East German Communist Party announced that their citizens could cross the border whenever they wanted. That same night people stormed the wall and begun to hop and even break down the wall.
