There has been many changes though out 100 years. Weapon is one of them we went from sword and spears to guns and tank. So lets talk about some changes we had over a 100 years. So these are the topic. Weapons, medication, and tech.
The first thing i’m going to talk about is drugs or medicine we went from making it are selfs to buy ing pills at the store. We went for using illegal drug to nonharmful meds. We had doctors come to are house and now we go to a docters office. We had to deal with a broken leg with out a cast to medicine and a cast.
So now lets talk about weapons we started using rock and sticks to bows and arrow. We evoled to wolrd war guns to 50 cals and assult rifles. The we evoled turn out to have good and bad deeds they can
The new weapons used in WW1 included: The Rifle used by every country involved in the war, The machine gun, Gas bombs which included chlorine in the early stages of the war then mustard gas in the later stages of the war, Flamethrowers, a Zeppelin or blimp which was a massive aircraft used by the Germans, Tanks 1st used in the battle of Somme, Planes which could dispense bullets at an incredible rate, drop bombs and even support a cannon, and submarines with torpedoes, to make easy pickings on the biggest ships. The rifle, machine gun, and the airplane were invented before WW1 but were upgraded into war machines that were devastating for soldiers.
What is the importance of the gun? The gun is one of the most important tools in the defense of our nation. Guns are responsible for a lot of death and injuries, but these things were going on before the existence of the gun. Guns aren't the reason for the death and injuries, they are just a means to it. They are tools and an engineering marvel of our age. The gun has evolved from a simple weapon that caused limited destruction to the modern gun that is so fast and powerful it is capable of mass destruction. Through the evolution of the gun, it has become a political tool.
The word has changed in the past century. Today we have a lot of modern in technology and communication and transportation . Over the past 100 years, there has been many improvement in technology , communication, transportation. In the past 100 years, our world has changed a lot in the areas of, technology and communication and transportation.
World War II is one of the most recognized battles in the history of the world. The battle originated with Germany’s invasion of Poland. This sparked the beginning of the war, though the United States was not yet involved. The U.S. came into the picture after the attack on Pearl Harbor on the morning of December 7, 1941. Though Japan was the more “direct opponent”, the United States Army Rangers, Marine Corps., and every other branch of military took on Japan and Germany.
Imagine a war so great and powerful that new weapons and ideas were created in order to fight it. This is exactly what took place during World War 1. Both sides of the war invented different types of weaponry and artillery. These weapons that were invented were never introduced to society before the war. The men going to war had no idea what the other side was going to use or not to use. The new weapons were machine guns, mortars, poison gases, tanks, airplanes, and u-boats. During the Great War there were several consequences of these new weapons. These consequences were increases in casualties, trench warfare, and massive land destructions.
The Civil War is a harsh part of American history but the life of the soldiers was a real struggle. Most people know that the soldiers had a miserable life but it was far worse than people assume. Weapons weren’t easy to use, training was like starting from scratch and the camp life was miserable. Whether is was the North or the South, life wasn’t easy. Therefore, during the Civil War, the soldiers continued the courageous and daring fight in spite of poorly constructed weapons, labored training, and dreadful living conditions.
World War 1 or the Great War was one of the most brutal if not the most war the world has faced so far. It originated in Europe which quickly went global, the war started on the 28th of July 1914 and ended November 11th 1918. The war consisted of many weapons and deadly gases. The weapons include;
Technology has changed remarkably over the last one hundred years. First, the way that we use books has changed. Another way is the way we play games. The way we communicate with each other has changed drastically over the last century as well. At this rate, with technology growing every day, we can see the “new” technology that we have right now is already being replaced with something else that is “new.”
During the Civil War there was many deadly effective weapons that killed 1,264,000 Americans. Some weapons used were from the Revolutionary War such as the single loading musket. There was also many technological advances such as the Spencer Repeating Rifle to the Gatling Gun. These and many more of the Civil War weapons made this war so deadly.
One was that soldiers finally had a more convenient way to communicate with their leaders, and even President Lincoln. Lincoln and other leaders were able to strategize and plan with their men swiftly and easily. Another way this war was different was that soldiers, battles, weaponry, etc. could be captured and documented with the use of cameras. Although the process of developing the photos was tedious, they still had the opportunity. To take and develop the photos they had to use the “wet plate” method which required focus, many specific steps, multiple people, and chemically powered equipment. Thanks to all of these advancements, we have our better, more modern versions of weapons, transportation, communication, and
The century had a trend toward weapon improvements. It wasn't until the 20th century that weapons became common in war and on the streets. The 20th century brought automatic firearms, missiles, and nuclear warheads.
Weapons have been around from the Neanderthals of the post-ice age, to the Taliban in Afghanistan. Rocks became knives, sticks became spears, and bayonets became AK-47’s. The technology from the French and Indian War was revolutionized and manufactured by the newly opened weaponry companies. Colt
Since the 19th century was a good thing for every country they were able to make better weapons.
In his work, “Guns, Germs, and Steel” (W. W. Norton, New York, NY, 1997) Jared Diamond attempts to explain why human history has carried out the way it has, he often refers to accounts from history to support his argument. Accounts that will be deemed adequate will discuss specific groups of people, at a specified period of time. Diamond suggests that guns, germs, and steel are three contributing factors for why the world is in its current state. It is not difficult to recognize while reading, that the book spends a large amount of time talking about germs and much less text discussing guns and steel. In “Guns, Germs, and Steel” Diamond does adequately account for the historical development of guns and steel, in the way he accounts for the role of germs in the history of human societies. It is no debate that germs played a massive role in many important events in history, but guns came late, were not very effective at first, and steel production was most important militarily.
The first category, weapon advances, is a very important category. Leading up to the war, weapons were changing constantly. Weapons of World War One were out of date. They were becoming more accurate, and capable of longer ranges. In World War One, the average soldier carried a bolt action rifle. Bolt action rifles are accurate;
