Essay on How I Changed in High School

The first reason how I’ve changed since I have came to Middle School is I have become more focused on work. When I was at Elementary School I did not want to do work at all, but when I have came to Middle School I actually do my work now. I get my worked turned in on time, and I don’t get in trouble if I don’t get my worked in on time.

If I look back on my life it is very different than it used to be. Middle School is 3 years of countless phases. One day you are a Mets fan another day you are a Yankees fan. One day all your friends play on Playstation and then they all buy an Xbox because it is the next cool thing to do. You just do not know what will be “in” next. When this is all over you can recap the good and the bad. We all have our good and bad times. but now all of us will be going to different schools next year. The crossroad has come for us what happens now cannot be changed. The next chapter in the book of my life has come and the introduction has been written.

High school, for many, is commonly termed as “the greatest four years of your life.” It is stopping for coffee with your friends while listening to your favorite songs on the way to school in the morning. It is staring at the clock waiting for the bell to ring to finally go to your favorite class of the day. It is staying after a long day of class for meetings, clubs, or sports, or it is spending Friday nights with your best friends performing under the football field lights. High school can be many different experiences for different people, but most importantly, for me, it was learning essential values of life while shaping me into the person that I am today.

When people tell you that high school would be the best time of your life, you don’t really understand the magnitude of what they’re saying until your time is coming to an end. A lot of people say that you “find yourself” in college. I, however, had the advantage of finding myself in high school. These past six years have been awesome, and I really mean it. I know it might not seem believable for a high school student to enjoy school, but I’m not lying about this stuff. I felt this way even before there was a scholarship to apply for. My mom taught me from a young age to enjoy going to school, and as much stress as it might have caused me over the years, I still loved every second of it. How I changed in middle schools is am more responsible. Another way I changed is I am smarter. The way i act is way better.

When I was fourteen years old, I realized that I was very different from my twin sister Annsley. When Annsley and I were in the eighth grade there was a form that we received to encourage students to join the band. I had no desire to join the band, I wanted to play soccer while Annsley on the contrary, could not wait to sign up. She even had a countdown for the first football game because she could not wait to march with her now, new band friends.

Have I changed since the beginning of Jr. High? I believe I have, I feel that it was a positive change. I have become more open about myself, I really don't care about what others think of me, and have learned to love myself before I love others.

Middle school is kinda weird, especially if it's your first year. Your meeting new teachers, students so it will be awkward at first, but then you get to know everyone in your class. I was a different kid before I Entered middle school, I was really immature, quite short

Knowing my limited athletic talents, I began to explore other aspects of sports. In my junior year, I decided to become the Statistician for the Soccer team. By the end of the season, I earned my first varsity letter for soccer. When fencing season began, I was called up to the varsity squad as my skills improved. By the end of the season, I received my second varsity letter for fencing. At the end of the year, I realized there was a difference between both letters. The soccer letter represented me recognizing my personal flaws and adjusting my interests to succeed in the end.
