Similar Ideas and designs
Similar products to mine are the waterproof rainboots. There 's not an exact or any design that will me close to my design. The only thing found were rain boots and they were all not as good looking and modern shoes. They were mostly had simple colors like brown and had rubber o plastic. My design in the other hand had wax and I could any modern day shoes. The other shoes were a specific type of shoes or design that were sort of identical to each other, and mine is a different design. The size of my design or product is the size of any shoe. So, it can vary.
How and Why my design will work My design is going to work so when you accidently step on a big, wet, puddle or spill a stainable drink onto your shoes, you won 't have to go through the hassle of trying to clean it off. Mostly for white or very clean shoes that are in light or bright vibrant colors.

The cost of my product will be about/around, $60-$70. The reason for this is because the cost of the
Maroons and grays, obnoxious greens and purples, Dr. Suesse, florals, mints, creams, and blacks have littered my bedroom floor for the last six-plus years. From low-tops to knee-high high-tops, each pair has offered me the confidence to take the next step. To this day, the sight of a battered toe cap and a peeling racing stripe makes me feel like I am anyone and everyone that has ever worn these classic canvas shoes. I am the confident ‘50s high school basketball star racing down the court and my carefree 8-year-old-self sprinting across the backyard with my
The final shoe I investigated is the MASTRO in the color bright multi. This is a 4.5inch heel stiletto. The bright multi pattern could be described as a splattered paint type of print. The colors on the shoe consist of lavender, pale pink, white, gray, baby blur and black. It is a sandal with two buckled straps and laces up in the back of the shoe.
Athletic footwear cannot be designed to cater to a large group as in general. It has to produceits products with a distinct difference keeping in mind the age groups or usage groups it isintending to target.
• Cost would increase to $600/wafer, which would cut our gross profit by 35%. The cost calculations are given in Exhibit 1.

Being able to have anything you could imaging on your own pair of sneakers would interest many people. Your shoes will be an eye catcher and stand out in a crowd. If all of your friends have the same pair of shoes, and you want yours to be just a little bit different, with my help, that can be made possible. Because I enjoy customizing shoes, and I will need to have knowledge to own a profitable business, I am going to go to Germanna Community College starting next year. After Germanna, I will transfer into JMU’s exceptional business program, where I plan to get a business degree.
There are too many unknown variables involved when developing a customized system to be able to give you a hard cost number. There are always problems that arise that can’t be foreseen until the program is developed and implemented.
Essence is about special pattern, detailing, modern, layering. “This theme looks at the world with fresh eyes: it drags society out of its daily coma and urges people to go beneath the mass of detail to see the beauty in the everyday and transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.”(WGSN) The design inspiration board I find which are color, woven panels, routine textures, webbing, D-ring lacing and outdoors technology. The contrast-color sole is bold primary or seasonal bright is added to wedge and cleated soles across both. Also I look up the Nike ACG outdoor series have very professional and high technique outdoor sneaker. For the Chaco winter series I deiced the layering idea for the general orientation. The main material of the upper of the sneaker is suede. And there are printed mesh material under the suede piece. The suede material is a popular material used in sneaker and the printed mesh material should give the whole sneaker and ankle greater protection. I choose speed lace hardware and climbing-rope laces to give the whole sneaker more outdoor looking. Those materials are not only durable for the hiking, but also easy to take down. The sole have two parts, which is EVA midsole, and Rubber outsole. The EVA material is a synthetic material that relieves the overall weight of the sneaker. The Rubber material make the sole strongly and wearproof. The color of the series that I choice army green, brindle, gray and black. Those are all color form nature, which doesn’t show the dirt so much. And also let people steady and simply. The midsole have inkjet printing that gives more detail of the sneaker. There are both of sneaker use the webbing techniques form
This pass weekend I went fishing, and along the way I had stopped at Bi-Mart for some waders. The waders looked good, however, after walking several miles in them, one will realize the flaws of these waders. My feet were bruised and with blisters. The problem is apparent, people have different feet. That’s when I got the idea! What if there was some sort of foam or putty that conforms to your foot and then solidifies. This technology would be some kind of liquid gel that hardens to into a comfortable durable gel. One may spray or insert the gel, and then put their shoe on, and within minutes the liquid gel would harden to the contour of your foot. This gel would be non-toxic; safe on humans and the environment. That would be like a custom
The primary target market of TOMS is males and females between the age of 19-24 that want to combine the creativity of being a trend-setter with the satisfaction of being socially responsible. This age range is a part of what is known as Generation Y, or the Millennials. Generation Y has brought a trend of social awareness and activity. From 2002 to 2005 the number of people volunteering went up 25%. This generation is all about giving back to the people, so Toms allows this group to give back by purchasing their shoes. TOMS has also done its homework on this group as well. Utilizing social media, TOMS reaches out to over 488,000 twitter followers, 280,000 Facebook fans, and several thousands of YouTube users. TOMS understands that generation Y prefers hands on involvement. In order to make that happen, TOMS fans are allowed to take part in a yearly One Day Without Shoes movement to understand what it is like to be shoe-less. In addition to the giving back and the social movements, TOMS shoes let young adults be expressive in their style. The plain shoe design makes way for creative minds to manipulate the shoe as anyone may please. TOMS is mainly focused in the U.S., but the shoes are available in over 30 countries globally
After estimating Trunk-Gator COGS, fixed costs/overhead, and a profit for our product, the price range will be $100 - $150, depending on the costumer’s customization order.
Using manufacturing cost of $148.12 the product would have to sell for at least $207.
* The fixed cost component of developing the product was between $30,000 and $50,000 but additional $300,000 was needed to finance the first production run. The funds would be needed until the initial payments from sales arrived a few months later.
Finally, Alejandro Ingelmo, shoe designer created 'The Lunar shoe. Using the armrest leather trim, tire tread and the clear plastic tubing used for wiper fluid, to create an out of this world pair of shoes. Our product is a car console organizer and it comes in many sizes and colors. Our easy to use product also is light and portable. The product contains many multi-sized compartments for phones, money, and sunglasses. There is also a secret compartment that has an easy access. While manufacturing this product we would use plastic sheets to create it. We found plastic to be the correct choice because it can change textures and colors. It also is a very inexpensive product that is a light and strong material. The overall cost of our product includes the cost of material ($43.96 for two plastic sheets that are 30 inches by 36 inches) and the labor and overhead cost ($4.50) which adds up to the total production cost ($48.46). Then, I added the total production cost to the manufacturer’s markup which is 10% of the total production cost ($4.85) to get the wholesale price ($53.31). In all, my group’s product costed $53.31 which is a great price for our product.
