“Did they do it as some kind of benefit for us? Hell, I don’t know. But they are responsible for creating everything around us, that’s for sure. Every last atom, molecule… every last perceived perception of our world.” “And you can prove this?” Cary challenged. “That’s what you, Cassidy, and Phillip were trying to do down at the town hall?” Inez nodded. “We can prove it.” “How?” “This world—our world—is nothing more than one elaborate, giant computer program, maybe even several programs or systems working together and corresponding with one another. Think of it like your different levels of law enforcement before the volunteers arrival. New America—America—had an FBI, U.S. Marshalls, state police agencies, and even local communities …show more content…
Becoming angry and breaking a dish was the input… but my response was why would anyone want to break their wife’s dishes? Phillip’s said his response to wanting to bust up his grandfather’s watch with a hammer was that he couldn’t bring himself to do it. Krista’s response to smashing the anniversary present I’d given her, the crystal with the Eiffel Tower engraved into it, was that she couldn’t bring herself to do it either. That’s wrong… that’s all wrong… the appropriate response to each of these inputs is that the objects shatter into pieces… the appropriate response to Inez’s question is that the dish shatters asunder. Holy Fuck! It is mind control… We are living in a simulated world. They are controlling our actions by changing our emotional responses to stimuli.
Cary looked up at Inez and their eyes met. “You got it , my man,” Inez said continuing to smile. “Welcome to the world of those who know.” “How do you prove it?” “By disrupting the coding, throwing a monkey wrench into the function box.” “Is that what you were doing down at the town hall today?” “You bet your ass it was… or, at least, supposed be going down, but they put a stop to it.” “They? The volunteers?” “Yeah, we made too much noise. They saw it coming. They took away our power source to our experiment.” “If
"None of this was planned. The universe played a part in the whole thing, obviously. We just took our cues from the universe and kept moving on."
Charles smiled. “Then it is no trick that I intervened. As I said, I saw this man fight, and I sought almost immediately to have him.”
“Well, if this experiment was anything like the first one I did yesterday, then we should have one more result.”

Volunteer movements in the United States go back a lot further that what we read in textbooks. Throughout history, there are many Americans that have unselfishly given their time, money, and skills to come to the aide of others. Volunteers played an important role throughout the many wars that were fought for this country. One of the wars was the Revolutionary War. The soldiers themselves were volunteers. Those that were not out fighting in the war volunteered to open up their homes to shelter injured soldiers.
“ The radiation, i- its genetically modifying humans until they go crazy and attack each other.” Rich said , saddened.
“So yeah, some people may have been approached to discuss the plan -it wasn’t us.”
“Where are we? The last thing I remember was your bulldog’s barking and footsteps. Wait! That means that other people have escaped the force fields! But why would they kidnap us? And I remember something about being watched…Right! I‘ve been meaning to ask you. You knew we were being watched, but you didn’t tell me about it, why?" she asked, trying to piece together the fragments of memories
“No, it isn’t true, and there is a way to prove it to her, though,” a voice said from behind her.

“I mean look at Mars. It’s so close. We almost made it.” for a few seconds we just stared at the beautiful planet in silenced by its wonder.
“So, yeah, you all are sitting around me with your established lives—” She paused, and placed a hand on Rachael’s arm. “I really am happy for you guys. All that love and babies and shit is great.”
“How could they do it, how could they?” His voice, normally unwavering and rising above the rest sounded small and lost.
Pidge looked over, “Voltron? I remember that. When the lockdown happened a few years back, there was a lot of noise coming from a radio I had built-”
