Ms. Murdock,
The reason behind this written memo is inform you of my personal background, career goals, course study, and interests in learning technical communication.
Personal Background
I grew up in Leavenworth, Kansas. This is where I was born. I’ve lived in Kansas all my life. I’ve only moved once. In middle school, my family and I moved to the city next to Leavenworth, which is called Lansing, Kansas. The population of this town is very small and everyone knows everyone. The schools were better and more advanced. The advanced curriculum helped prepare me for college.
Course Study
When I first started college, I didn’t start at the University of Kansas. I, instead started at Kansas City Community College. The goal of my college career
When people hear the word “college”, many panic inside at the thought. But, when I hear the word “college” I think about Illinois State University. In early July, I attended an Open House at ISU for my very first official college visit. As I stepped onto campus, I couldn’t but help to feel like it was my future home. Many aspects of the tour made me draw nearer to choosing this college after finishing my High School career. Illinois State University seems to fit my personality very well, has an amazing program for what I want to study, and is an outstanding campus for my academic strengths and weaknesses.
My name, Jolon Rietveld I am currently living with my dad. I have been supporting myself in Saskatchewan for 2 years at a private school. This school only had 80 students in total so I had lots of 1 on 1 time with my teachers. So I will be struggling for the first little bit until I get use to the big high school life. My mom is living in Alberta. Her career choice is long road truck driver; she was an Ontario swat team in waterloo reign. I have been supporting myself since grade 9 and started paying for everything myself besides food since grade 10. My mom does love me, but she just has a different way of teaching life skills than other parents.
My home town is Butler,Missouri. Nothing to be that proud of. I left it as soon as I finished high school,
I was born in Warner Robins, Georgia but, since I am a military brat I have live multiple places mostly in the south. After my dad retired from the Airforce I was raised in Kennesaw Georgia where we still live now. I have one older brother who is studying to become a music producer and also was fortunate enough of being raised by two amazing parents. My father, who retired from
But by the end of my two years as a community college student, I had only dipped my toe into the vast pool of academic potential. Not only does the University of Washington offer infinite career and social opportunities, it provides a community of diverse student body and experienced professors all aiming toward the same goal of success. At the University of Washington I can continue my education and work toward a major that utilizes and builds upon my existing
I grew up, the majority of my live, in a town in central Illinois, Kincaid, or better known as South Fork because of the co-op with the schools around us in sports. This town is approximately 20 miles southeast of Springfield, and is only seven miles west from the nearest town, with many opportunities that my town did not offer (City-data).
I grew up in Yankton, a small town in South Dakota. Yankton isn't a glamorous place. But it is beautiful in its own way. My community has many problems, but many admirable traits as well. If given the choice, I would never choose another hometown.
The purpose of this memo is to interview a professional in my field. I decided to interview Fremon Williams who is the Unit Director for the South East Boys & Girls Club, a nonprofit organization for youth ages 5-18.
The SCO just got back so I will have to check on the appointment on Tuesday. The EMS handbook is something I will print off later tonight once everyone leaves for the day( I have duty ). The HAZ 11 memo is something I am still working on getting names for. I will keep your name on the appointment order until your replacement is named.
New Richland, Minnesota is the little back-country town that I grew up in. My family moved to New Richland when I was ten, and I lived there until I graduated High School. Folks from my hometown loved spending time out on the nearby lake, cheering on the High School sports teams, eating out at the local bar, and going drinking every weekend. The older I grew I realized that those activities did not amuse me in the slightest. That is why when I graduated High School I moved far away and never looked
I know with my great experience, drive, and future college education from CCU that great things are not too far ahead. Another event that caused me to venture back into the college arena is the insatiable appetite I have for knowledge. When I started my college search this last time I really looked closely at what all the schools had to offer. I found CCU and I felt like my search had ended but my journey had just begun. College has always been a place I enjoyed going, it is a symbol to me that there is hope for a better tomorrow. WKU, the college I attended straight out of high school, brings back some of the best memories I have ever experience. It gave me a sense of pride when I passed my classes, it improved my social skills, and it brought me closer to my responsibilities. I believe that with an associate’s degree from CCU in Healthcare Administration new doors will open, opportunities will knock. In wrapping up this essay, it seems that there are many events in play that have influenced me not only to future my education, but to attend CCU as
Everyone is told that they can be anyone they want to be, be anything they want to be, and go anywhere they want to go. I took this to heart and determined that I would go to my dream college, Washington University in St. Louis, and become an astounding author with an English degree to be proud of. However, I knew that I might need a backup college, and I settled upon Kansas University. Although the choice between the two originally seemed clear to me, after doing extensive research, my views were quickly morphed. While most people would chase after their dream college, I have found that facing reality, and choosing the so-called backup college, is by far the better choice.
For many, after graduating high school the next big step is college. I never asked myself why or if I even wanted to. Yet, since I was not yet ready to join the work force, and didn’t want to disappoint my parents, I simply followed the path that I was supposed to take. For a while I had no direction, but through the loss of my high school English teacher and my dream of making my family proud, I discovered that college was the place I wanted and needed to be.
The purpose of this memo is to define technical writing, relate it to my field of healthcare management, and describe the audience (or audiences) for technical communication in the healthcare setting.
Reason I code is to make life better for the customers. If my work results in something taking less time to complete, creating something new or improving an existing idea, then I feel good about myself after the work day. I’ve done so during
