Dear Hiring Manager for the Human Resources Intern position I am writing to apply for the position of Human Resources Intern posted on the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management’s online recruiting website, The Edge. I have always wanted to work for Thomson Reuters because it’s recognized as one of the world’s most admired Companies. Sincerely, Sultana Zannah I watched my first Flipgrid video again and I noticed that I had very little eye contact and I used a lot of filler words like ‘umm’ due to low confidence level. I also identified the same issues when I watched my elevator speech, but with practice, my body language and eye contact improved significantly and is noticeable in the interview prep Flipgrid video (http://umn.interviewstream.com/link/?gWQWWHxHRvC2). I wasn’t confident at the beginning, but my confidence level increased with each Flipgrid. Learning my strengths, skills, and culture match was the most interesting part about this class. I learned a lot about myself through the Gallup’s Clifton finder and Butler’s Career leader. My signature themes from the Clifton strength insight report are; Relator, individualization, Analytical and Restorative.
