When you watch the movie High Noon, and read the story "The Most Dangerous Game" you may not see many similarities or differences when you first read, or watch. But you might start to put the puzzle pieces together when you watch a second time or begin to think about what's the same or different about them. One of the main similarities in both stories is that the main characters are outnumbered by their enemies. This is a reoccurring theme in both. In High Noon, there are four bad guys coming to town to take their revenge on Will Kane. In "The Most Dangerous Game" Rainsford is hunted by Ivan, general Zaroff, and his pack of dogs. Another similarity I spotted was when both characters needed help the most there was no one who was brave enough to help them. One of the major differences between them was they both had different settings, and move at a different pace. However this helps build the stories. Both stories have their own way of building suspense. Each of these stories take showing the theme and differences to a whole new level
There are many things to compare and contrast in the hunger games book and the movie. When
Something nobody likes is plagiarism. When you sink time and effort into a piece of work only to have someone else run along and take your idea, the feeling you get isn’t usually pleasant. However, something that should always be considered is if the ideas just seem similar but aren’t identical, or if the idea was an already established one that’s being built upon, or even if the idea was even yours to begin with. In the case of the PUBG vs. Fortnite copyright claim, all these factors are addressed into play.

‘The Hunger Games’ written by Suzanne Collins (2008) describes a narrative where there are 12 districts that came from the ruins of North America that is called Panem, 3 of the districts are favoured by the Capitol, the rest of the districts are really poor. Each year a male and female ranging from 12 to 18 must go to the Capitol’s arena where they fight to the death reality television show called ‘The Hunger Games’. The theme that I will be focusing on is survival. The definition of survival is the state or fact of continuing to live or exist, typically in spite of an accident, ordeal, or difficult circumstances.
Hunting people is “The Most Dangerous Game”. The Hunger Games is the most difficult game to win. Rainsford was shown to be a witty, resourceful, and patient person. He even outfoxed General Zaroff in his own crazy game. Katniss was shown to be a quick thinker and had a determination to get back to her family. The creators of these characters developed the protagonists through the use of man vs. man, man vs. nature, and man vs. fate conflict. Katniss is an excellent hunter with a little sister and a mother. Rainsford was an intelligent sailor who fell off his boat accidentally.

The story switches point of view in almost every chapter, letting the reader experience the novel from almost all 42 points of view. It is also written in such a way that the reader can keep track of who had died, by whom, or what, they were killed by. This book was written in 1996, however, it was not published until 1999. Even then, there were a lot of controversy surrounding this book, people would often argue and raise concerns about this book promoting youth violence. Reality television has differed throughout the years. At one point it was meant to be a literal depiction of everyday life. Now, reality television has changed to be more dramatic and outrageous than an average person or family’s life. The Hunger Games, in a way, depicts the lives of those who live in the poorer districts where the necessities for life are not in such abundance as in the Capitol. Although children are not forced to kill each other in the districts, there is still the struggle for one’s livelihood. That reality is depicted in the games and it seems that The Capitol takes that theme and develops it into The Hunger Games that we know and love. The Hunger Games suggests that reality television is manipulated to the point where the viewers see what the creators (game makers) want them to see.
Most of the book takes place at the arena in which the Hunger Games are in a different arena. This year, the Games take place in an arena in which there is a lake, streams, wooded areas, and a field in which Katniss and almost all of the other tributes are afraid to enter.
"The Hunger Games" is a science fiction novel written by the American author Suzanne Collins that was published in 2008. A film adaptation directed by Gary Ross was released in 2012. Although some movie adaptations differ greatly from the original stories presented in the books, this adaptation follows the plot development in an unusually detailed manner. However, certain changes were made that influence our perception of the movie.
