My Commentary: I had pity for both Morgan and Kiki during this period. Morgan was making strides, and the chain of events that led to him losing Kiki and his life wouldn 't have happened if it weren 't for Ava stealing his meds. It was heartbreaking to hear how confused and disenchanted he was in his recovery journals (11/4), trying to do everything by the book and still failing. I had my first real occurrences of compassion for Kiki, who expressed to both Franco (10/3) and Dillon (10/7) that she was losing sight of herself by constantly being on emotional eggshells with Morgan, tending to his needs while ignoring her own. I was impressed that the writers gave her enough self-awareness to acknowledge her revolving door dating patterns, …show more content…
Nonetheless, excellent performances ensued, naturally (shout-out to Dominic Zamprogna, A.K.A. Dante). My personal favorites were from West and Wright. Ava 's tortured breakdown on 10/11 after hearing Morgan died was the stuff of soap dreams and West 's innate passion was the perfect ingredient for it. Mascara covered tears fell down her face, as guilt-ridden flashes of her removing the pills seesawed with memories of their tawdry love affair, causing her to obliviously drop her martini glass. She sobs while picking up the shards, realizing she 's involved in killing the only man she 's loved since being in PC. Overtaken, she flings the pieces and screams, "What have I done?!!" She bumps into Bobbie the next day, who asks if she ever truly loved Morgan. Ava replies "Yeah, I loved him...very much. There was a time when he was the only one who saw good in me at all. Now I suppose anyone who ever did (veiled reference to Nikolas?) is gone," and dashes off to crumble on the elevator. Carly 's bouts of rage were everything (I can 't come up with a suitable adjective, so we 'll go with "everything"). On 10/12, Sonny got it about Julian 's hit. Before smashing a childhood photo of Morgan, she fumed, "...A bomb blew him up. You couldn 't help yourself could you? You had to be the one to finish Julian. And now...our beautiful little boy is dead, and you killed him!!" An Emmy reel
Ava Buras played the role of Annie Cannon. She was my favorite actress because she had the best emotion and was absolutely perfect for that role. Sarah Dean played the role Henrietta Leavitt and she portrayed it amazingly. She used her emotions to sell the character and she accomplished that. Jessie Duplantis played the role of Williamina Fleming and she also did amazing. She used hand gestures and face to portray this character perfectly. Katie Kitchen played the role of Margaret Leavitt and she had the best facial expressions. In my opinion she had the very best emotions and I think this because I really felt like I was actually watching real life. As a whole, all the characters did an amazing job and they all had very good emotions.
We felt that this week the action was exciting and the focus was intense. Once again “NCIS: New Orleans” gave fans a reason to tune in! Episode grade:
The scene where the Cowboys shot the people at the church right after a couple had gotten married stood out to me. It showed how much they take their gang seriously since the groom had killed a cowboy. They had shot and killed multiple people, including a priest and the groom, leaving the wife crying over her husbands body. The
One of the characters I would like to discuss is Richard, played by Hunter Mruz, because he was one of the characters who really stood out to me as very profound and interesting personality. In my opinion he was one of my favorite actors to watch as I felt some of his lines or discussions ere very vital to the story as they provided key clues that you had to pick up on in the begining to help get a better understanding of the story. He showed good voice inflection and was very active when saying his lines. My all time favorite scene he is in is when they are being pulled over by the sheriff and he has to try and talk the cop out of a ticket but it completely backflips. He says to the officer “Well I
One of my favorite characters was Calvin because he is an athlete like me and because he doesn't really care about himself so he's not so self centered he also lives with a big family. I also think that it's that he was cool that's he want to help Meg
There were several memorable moments which impacted my mind. One of them was Jacob's story. It was sad to see how the persistent labeling with hyperactivity by preschool teachers took a 3 year old boy down to the pathway of a million American children, who were eventually diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Most of these children were forced to take several strong antipsychotic drugs and mood stabilizers already in their
Ciarra and I could not stop laughing over her actions. We take our seats and wait for the panel to start. Before the panel started the V.I.P guests took their seats and I was immediately star struck, Troian Bellisario’s (One of the main cast members and my favorite actress on the show) fiancée sat right in front of Ciarra and I and I could not stop squealing. He turned around and began having conversation with everyone and of course I wanted to say something but I was star stud so no words physically came out so whatever. After what felt like years of waiting the cast finally came out and again I was star struck I have never been that close to the women that make my life complete. During the panel I screamed, cried and laughed mostly crying but that is beside the point. When the panel ended everyone rushed outside to take pictures of the cast leaving hoever the cast was still on stage taking promotional pictures doe the official Pretty little Liars social media
The blackmail storyline was really interesting: Simon isn’t ready to come out quite yet but he also doesn’t look at it as such a big deal. BUT when he gets blackmailed by a opportunistic classmate who threatens to expose it that definitely concerns him because he knows what he and Blue has is fragile and it could mess that up. I liked watching him wrestle with it all — not wanting to give in because it’s HIS thing to tell, not wanting to betray a friend who this classmate wants to get closer to and wanting to preserve what he and Blue have. I think the particular classmate who does the blackmailing is interesting himself — you just want to punch him for being a shithead but also you see him as a
In addition to this, I was shocked to learn that Sabrina was the first woman to be exonerated from death row. It was based on the assumption that she had killed her son I think that her case lacked any evidence. I also would like to have known who sat on the jury for this particular case. The Dead Man Walking video clip also surprised me because I was able to see Sr. Helen interact with the death row inmate. It was amazing to see how she was speaking, and praying for the inmate so that he would be healed from his hurt, frustration, and he caused his victims and their families. Sr. Helen’s dedication to helping him find a way to bring hope to his life and admit the part he played in the crimes he was being accused of showed the connection she shared with the inmate and with Jesus (Good Samaritan Society). Finally, I was shocked to hear the inmate say that he would have to be dead in order for someone to love him. His made me wonder if his home life played a part in his being put on death row and for the crimes he committed or if he was easily influenced by others. The final video clip centered on Debby Morris was also surprising to me because she had mastered the step of forgiveness that required her to release her offenders for the kidnapping and the rape. She
I didn't think I would be emotional when Lee left but I was surprised when I was I can't imagine being there on Judy's last day.
Why did the cops accuse Nick so quickly for murder? April Henry is the author of Blood Will Tell, April Henry's purpose is to teach others not to accuse so quickly without an explanation. April Henry i am writing to you so you can help me understand how the little girl got across the busy highway. I would also like to know why’d the cops accuse Nick so quickly. I also wonder what is kenny’s problem, and why did Kenny hurt Lucy.
The cover up of Miller's death was not alarming to me because that continues to happen in jail or prison daily. The administration just wants to bury the problem instead of taking responisibity for any part in the inmate deaths. There trying to uphold the jails repretutation, bad press is the last thing they need. Red's plan to cover-up Daya's pregnancy was shocking but she knew it could be done. There is supposed to be rules enforce between guards and inmates but it seems like everyone breaks them whenever it's convenient for them.
It demonstrated the need for family therapy before the release of an individual from rehab. Kym’s behavior was horrified me until it was put into context through the understanding of the dynamics that had affected her life. Kym not using drugs during her stay at home took incredible courage. The confrontation between her mother and her in regards to being left to care for her little brother was emotional. I could feel the pain of both the mother and the daughter.
The character Angela impressed me the most. Firstly, when terrorists were kidnapping the president’s kid, Angela works with Malak to fend off the terrorists from capturing him (252). This shows that Angela is not as weak as she looks and she could defend herself when in danger. This proves that Angela can handle all the things that the ghost cell throws at her. Secondly, Angela becomes more trustworthy, observative, and protective as she learns the theme (21, 249, and 252).
Though I may dislike Kline’s writing style and her portrayal of characters during the sections with Molly, I enjoyed the sections with Vivian and all of her previous incarnations. Not only did Kline’s writing style significantly improve during these sections, but the majority of the characters had an element of believability and humanity to them. Even Mr. Grote who attempts to rape Dorothy does his best to provide for his family. I’m not trying to justify his actions, I’m just
