Richard Leonard Kuklinski, known as “The Iceman” was born April 11, 1935. Kuklinski was a contract killer who was convicted of 5 murders. Kuklinski was given the nickname “Iceman” for freezing a body of a victim to mask the time when the victim was murdered. Kuklinski lived with his wife Barbara Kuklinski and 3 children in the suburb of Dumont, New Jersey. Prior to his arrest, his family was apparently unaware of Kuklinski's double life and crimes. Kuklinski was a contract killer for Newark's DeCavalcante crime family and New York City's Five Families of the American Mafia. Kuklinski favored to murder people with sodium cyanide since it killed very quickly and also was hard to detect. With Cyanide, Kuklinski would simply kill the victim by either injecting the cyanide in them, putting it in the victim’s food, aerosol spray or spilling it on the victim’s skin. After killing his victim, he will dispose the body in a 55-gallon oil drum. Other ways Kuklinski would dispose the body were either burying the body or putting the body in the trunk of a car then having it crushed in the junkyard. Kuklinski says that Robert Pronge, nicknamed “Mr. Softee” has taught him different methods to use cyanide to kill his victims. Pronge allegedly asked him to carry out a hit on Pronge's

Otzi is a mummified body that was found near the Otzal apes. It was preserved in the ice. Otzi is one of the only preserved bodies that is almost completely preserved. Even after all of that time he had no special treatment to help preserve. It was preserved for about 5,300 years. He was found in 1991 by a couple of tourists on the Italian/Austrian border.

Otzi the iceman was discovered in Italy, his 5,300 year-old corpses were found between the border of Austria and Italy. The Narrabeen man was found in 2005 in the Sydney basin next to a bus stop.

After a careful overview of the story, the readers understands that the author point is that in some situations, people should do the nice thing and sacrifice themselves to help others. In the story, “What Happened During the Ice storm” the author uses a mysterious, bittersweet tone, “They stood over the pheasants, turning their own heads, looking at each other each expecting the other to do something” (Heynen 1). The author uses this line to show that any other person would not even stop to think; that any other person would immediately attack. Ötzi the iceman is one of history’s most famous mysteries, but Ötzi has also caused some controversy in the way he died, several scientists and archaeologists have discussed many pieces of evidence (injuries and markings) that could explain his death. Many questions have been asked about this topic like: what is the most rational explanation? OR Is there any evidence showing who’s hypothesis is correct? Ötzi the iceman is an interesting mystery because there could have been more than one person involved in his death or whether it was from past experiences such as physical combat.

The thesis of the film “Chasing Ice” is to portray the extreme climate change we are facing today. The film has a clear goal of showing visually the danger we are causing our planet by denying climate change. The aim of the film is to show us visually that climate change does exist and it is happening at a rapid rate. The film does a good job at providing evidence that climate change is happening, by capturing footage of the changes occurring over short periods of time. These videos captured by James Balog’s recording devices make it almost impossible to deny climate change and that is precisely the purpose of the film.

Jealousy: Lysa was romantically interested in Petyr Baelish, however, Petyr constantly ignored Lysa and was romantically interested in Catelyn Stark who was Lysa’s sister (Martin, 1996). Consequently, Lysa became extremely jealous of Catelyn for stealing Petyr away from her (Martin, 2000). Lysa’s jealousy reached a climax when she became jealous of Sansa Stark who inherited many physical features of Catelyn (Martin, 2000). Jealousy was a quintessential trait exhibited by individuals with anxious attachment style which was highlighted by Hazan and Shaver in their research on attachments (Hazan & Shaver, 1987). Marshall, Bejanyan, Di Castro and Lee (2012) also found that individuals with anxious attachment styles were more prone to exhibit their feelings of jealousy on the internet (Marshall, Bejanyan, Di Castro, & Lee, 2012). Lysa’s jealousy towards Catelyn for stealing her romantic interest could be perceived as a convincing example to consider Lysa as an individual with an anxious attachment style.

Ice Break is a short story written by Astrid Blodgett. The story is told in a first person narrator and is from the main character Dawn's perspective. Dawn are at a ice fishing trip with her dad and her younger sister when the car falls into the water and her dad tries to safe them.
