There are many characteristics or qualities of people as humans that can be irritating and annoying. Five of those things are at the top of my list, which include, chewing on ice, chewing with mouths open, obnoxiously loud talking, slow drivers, and smacking of gum. In my opinion, all five of these things are some of the most annoying things in the world, and I’m sure you would agree with me as well. First off, chewing on ice is one characteristic of people that I cannot stand. My boyfriend chews on ice literally 24/7, and it bugs me out of my mind. People who chew on ice loudly should be put in a box and have other people just sit around their ears and make them listen to them chew on ice. The worst type of ice to chew is cubed ice because of how much larger it is than say, nugget ice or crushed ice. If you’re a person who chews on ice, lock yourself in a box. …show more content…
Chewing with your mouth open is first, gross, and second loud and obnoxious. Chewing with your mouth open causes food to fly out and smacking to occur. Smacking is annoying because it’s just mouth noise and it makes people go crazy, unless you’re the person doing it. People who chew with their mouth open should be sent to a new class made just for people who do not understand the concept of chewing with their mouth closed. Thirdly, people who talk obnoxiously loud. People at the airport, school, or even the doctor’s office, you’ll eventually find a person who talks way too loud. When you talk loud, you’re not only drawing attention to yourself, but to the people surrounding you as well. Especially if you’re with one of your friends and they start yelling in the mall or somewhere filled with people, you yourself would probably be embarrassed and tell them to quiet down. People who talk way too loud are embarrassing, obnoxious, and annoying, if you or someone you know talks too loud, do not come anywhere near
People all over the world have sounds that rarely occur that irritate them, like nails on a chalk board, a fork scraping a plate, or car alarms. But sometimes every day sounds that most people barely notice, other people really notice. Some major examples are sounds like chewing, nail tapping, swallowing, and the clicking of a keyboard. These individuals do not notice these sounds more because they want to; their mind automatically detects the sounds and continues to focus on them. These people usually become enraged by the sounds they hear because a switch inside their head has been flipped to activate a negative response. This oversensitivity to small sounds is a mental disorder called Misophonia. It is a

If students have a test chewing gum can help you focus on your test. There is almost always a student in your class that distracts people. Gum will probably help you put all your attention on your test instead of that student. In 2009 researchers from Baylor College Of Medicine Of Houston did a experiment. The article “How to Deal with Annoying Co-Workers, discusses the six most common types of annoyances and solutions to these irritations. After reading the article I realized that after spending eight hours a day with the same people someone is bound to fall into one of the six annoyances. But it is what you do about the annoyance that impacts the
Unfortunately, there are some health risks that come with chewing gum. These hazards consist of gastrointestinal problems, TMJ, and an association with headaches. First of all, chewing gum grants extra air to be ingested into the stomach, which may cause discomfort in the abdomen or bloating. Furthermore, TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder) is generated when one chews gum on one side of the mouth over the other side which causes an inequality in the jaw muscles. When particular muscles are overworked, it can lead to all kinds of aches such as toothaches, earaches, and headaches. Recent studies have shown that headaches in young adults are related to chewing gum, however, chewing gum does not cause headaches, but rather if one has migraines,
Have you ever been to a movie theatre, sitting at work, or hanging out at home and heard people eating, talking, or making repetitive sounds? For some, these are just regular everyday noises. But, for others these noises are so loud and disturbing that they literally become triggers for anger and cause people to distance themselves from social gatherings, family, and personal life (Kumar et al., 2014).

Annoying people are like bugs. They’re all different types of creepy, nasty, and weird. Take a cockroach and a naked mole rat—both are disgusting, but one is just more so than the other. Ugh! My skin is crawling. That’s a strange thing to say. Just imagine that your skin is moving in little waves, crashing onto the shore of your innards. Teehee – seriously, don’t imagine that.
Another unpleasant characteristic would be acting condescending. No one likes a person who thinks of themselves as superior to others when they clearly are not, especially in this context where everyone can express their opinion on the discussed matter. Furthermore, I think that a delegate who conducts himself this

No one likes to see their parents crabby. There are reasons that parents can get stressed, like children not listening can stress parents out. Even co-workers can stress the individuals out, so they chew to reduce the stress.
