I love English, especially writing. If I could write all day, I would in a heartbeat. Writing offers freedom, a world in which anything is possible. For realists like myself, English offers an escape from reality by immersing people into fictitious realms only the mind can see. I also would enjoy film studies because film is the visual embodiment of writing. Then, I would enjoy psychology because I am curious about interactions between people and how a person's environment affects their
He was in shocked by who he just shot. He scurried backwards from the body he pant very quietly. But decide to then quickly move up at the street. He tried to think of a way out alive. It was obvious that going to wherever the sounds of wars was wouldn’t be a good idea. Suddenly he came to the realization of an idea. He stood up and move in the opposite side of the road, quickly and quietly he moved in the shadows of buildings like he was his own shadow. Daybreak was forming he decide to ran as quickly as he could outside the city, passed all the dangers lurking and escaped never to be seen
radiology. I hope to discover all that the title Radiology Technologist entitles me to engage in,
After taking AP Chemistry, I knew that I wanted to study chemistry in college. I also have been a very inquisitive person my whole life, wondering why things are and how things worked. My inquisitive nature and love of chemistry is why chemical engineering appeals to me. I am drawn to Biomedical engineering due to its application of both chemistry and biology to solve medical problems. Doing a complete 360, I am interested in art history, because not only do I find art fascinating, but I also find it mesmerizing how artists visually represent and were inspired by the world around them.
Personally, I know one day I will find exactly what I’d love to do as my life time career. Currently my top three options are: lawyer, psychologist, and business administrator. I love learning about laws and defending people, I’m curious about how it’s possible to help people with their mental problems, and I would definitely like to learn how to manage my own business. I pray that I actually end up liking college because I really don’t want to have a minimum wage paying job for the rest of my
Psychology has grabbed my attention ever then. The career helped me realize that there are people out there in the world that need a push to go on about their day. Helping someone in need of care may seem like a lot of work in other people’s eyes, but for me,
Throughout my academic life, a subject that has really inspired me the most is History. History has been my favorite because it includes all of my favorite elements.Which are how the past impacted the future and how the future could really impact the past.I have great interests in history because it has taught me much valueless material that I could use in my life. For example, speaking out for things that seem an injustice. Just like how many important heroic people did many years ago.One historical person that I have great respect for is Martin Luther KIng ,Jr and one day wish to impact the country just like he did with because without him they would have been a person to have an idea of seeing the possibility of an America where black and
I am currently a mathematics major, but I am planning on changing my major to physics and hopefully specializing in astrophysics. Astronomy and space, in general, has been a passion of mine since the eighth grade and it was all due to the astrophysicists Carl Sagan. I really enjoy watching Doctor Who, because the idea of aliens and space are explored, but also it also reminds me to keep an open mind. My music taste also reflects my open mind because I love hearing K-pop even if I do not understand the language, but I am trying to learn. I enjoy listing to Latin pop and western pop, anything except country. As far as personal interest go, I enjoy going on walks by myself especially at night. During summer bridge, I would often go on late night
My adventure with science began in childhood. The initial appeal of it was how challenging some questions could be. Over time my interests started to gradually shift towards mathematics, because I always felt the need to look for general solutions to the problems I faced. While I still have a keen interest in physics I tend to fell more comfortable when doing mathematics. I find the beauty of its abstractions and the ability to address a wide range of problems by generalizing them, to be unparalleled.
I found the careers in educational psychology interesting. These psychologists study how people learn and retain knowledge. I found this interesting because people learn in many different ways. I know I do I am more of a hands on type learner, someone can tell me how to do something a million times but I don’t fully learn until I do it myself. I think this type of psychology could help not only students and teachers but parents too.
When it comes to the things that interest me, it would be fashion designing and drawing.
This has furthered my interest in combining Spanish with Business. Another topic I have enjoyed was Popular Culture specifically the sub-topic of cinema. This would be an interest I would like to pursue as part of a degree. Some Spanish movies I have watched include ‘Pan's Labyrinth’, ‘Julieta’ and ‘El Espiritu de la Colmena’. After immersing myself into Spanish culture through film, I began to discover other aspects of it, specifically in literature. My favourite being ‘Como Agua Para Chocolate’ by Laura Esquivel, which has helped to broaden my understanding of Spanish and South American culture. I have also studied Maths and Biology. These subjects have taught me how to analyse and interpret information which are useful skills for my chosen degree. As part of my Biology studies there were many opportunities to do group work which has given me the teamwork skills necessary for higher level study. It has also improved my independent learning skills through further research of the subject while maths has given me the opportunity to improve my problem solving
For myself, I would say that I am interested in many types of art. I like mathematics and technology as well. I took a survey to determine a career that may be suitable for me. By taking this survey, I found out that I was strongest in Human Services, Manufacturing, and STEM. STEM stands for Science, Technology,
If I were given an opportunity to design an educational path that was specific to me I would want an active role in every aspect of what I wasn't my career to look like. There have been many things that I wanted to do when I grew up and now I know for sure; I only have one answer now. There was a time when that answer was "blank or blank" or "I'm not completely sure at this point". As I have reflected on the patterns that have surfaced in my life I have realized that I am at my happiest when I am around art or making art. That would be the heart of my educational road if I were able to design it the way that I think is best for me. The one answer that I have now is, "A museum curator" I want to be around things that make me feel. It is indescribable when you are around something that you love so much.
I have a love for learning and acquiring new information. However ,something I am most interested in is human psychology. From a very young age, I was curious about what went on inside people’s heads.I would constantly question my parents on things such as, people’s motives and reasons that would explain their behavior. The topic excites me, for the reason that, it has an endless range of how you interpret things. Another topic that I enjoy researching, is mysteries. Mysteries such as crimes or paranormal happenings. I regularly research mysteries and try to figure out what happened. It’s like having a big puzzle to solve. I find both of these topics to be truly fascinating, and want to learn even more about them.
My high school experience and all the subjects I studied always managed to boost my passion for understanding certain aspects of human nature, our relationship with each other and the world around us. One of my favourite subjects was history, which I have been passione about since I was a child. I think that
