There is a lingering feeling of not feeling like a child belongs. They are stuck in the invisible world between where their parents came from, in this specific case, Asia and where the child lives now. It can be difficult to be raised as an Asian American and learning both culture and traditions. Many Asian American kids end up deviating from the Asian culture and embracing the American culture. However, children of immigrants should embrace their own culture in order to keep traditions alive and be proud of who they are.

The United States is known as “the land of opportunities and hope” but it does not always offer what it portrays. Undocumented immigrants who come to the U.S. in search of “the American dream” have faced many injustices in this country, a country which claims to be free and fair. Undocumented immigrants are everywhere; however, not all immigrants are bad or trying to hurt others. In the United States, especially in California, Mexicans are the targeted group when it comes to politics and other important government issues. Mexicans are seen as invaders who are constantly killing and raping, but in reality this is not true. Imagine putting yourself in the shoes of an illegal immigrant. You have to feed your family, get money to pay the rent, and prevent getting caught from immigration authorities. The consequences for getting caught could include deportation or serving time in jail. 11 million undocumented immigrants currently live in the United States and have a family to take care of. Families caught under pressure in their own country might not have a choice but to enter a country illegally. Issues that people often find themselves arguing about with their friends, or something that people have a very strong presupposed belief of. American has had a steady problem with how to resolve the illegal immigration problem. This is a great threat to the United States because it can significantly increase crime. There is much that can be done to prevent this current crisis, spinning completely out of control. Although the security needs are vast and call for reform on many levels, first and foremost, the borders need to be secure. Until this happens, the American people are at risk. It is my view, whatever the cost or whatever the measures needed, Congress needs to first allocate the money for the protection of the border to stop violent gangs, such as the notorious gang MS-13 from coming to America and committing horrendous crimes.

I’m going to be writing about undocumented workers in the United States. Undocumented workers get hired for multiple reasons, but the biggest reason is them being illegal immigrants. Undocumented Immigrants: Beneficial to the United States There are about 11.5 million undocumented immigrants in the United States today. Undocumented immigrants from different parts of the world come to this country for variety of reasons, reasons like getting a better life for themselves or their for their families, to find better jobs, or seeking a better education. Undocumented immigrants are willing to do jobs, that could sometimes be risky, that other people in the U.S. aren’t willing to do. The government should provide documents for immigrants because they benefit this country with cultural diversities, help by joining the U.S. armed forces, and growth in the U.S. economy.

The United States is built off of immigration with the influxes of immigrants from all around the world. Immigrants come all the way from germany to across the pacific ocean. Immigrants have also came here for the reason that they heard there is better jobs and a more luxurious lifestyle.
