Immigrating to the United Stated has been taking place for centuries from all over the world. The highest rates of immigration are individuals that immigrate from Mexico into the United States. According, to Home Land Security in Table 37 Aliens Determined Inadmissible by Region and Country of Nationality: Fiscal Years 2013 to 2015, shows that in 2013 there was 56,187 immigrants coming into the United States from Mexico illegally, in the following year there was 63,396, and in 2015 there was 74,151(Home Land Security, 2017). As the table shows the number of undocumented immigrates from 2013-2015 only increase throughout the years.

He immigrated three years before may mother and I did at the time is seemed like such a long time so I was seven years old. I remember being scare not only about his safety but also because I was scared that he might forget me and my mom and start a new family in the United States. I had a lot of mixed feelings in how I should have felt, I was happy that my dad was going to go get a better job in the U.S. but I was scared that he might die or get miss treated. I also remember feeling sad and angry that he was going to leave us behind like we didn’t matter, little did I know at the time that this was a big sacrifice he had to do for our family. I remember having my mother remind me that my father was doing this for us and that it wasn’t easy for him either. After three long years of doubt that he was going to have us go to him he finally sent for us”. I was curious about his mother experienced so I asked him if he ever saw any sign of slight difference in his mother he said “She had her days when she would feel my dad absence bad, I remember seeing her cry a couple of nights. Being different can bring many bulling from school age children and teens. Being an undocumented child can also bring the feeling of unwelcomes from society because they are being told they should not be the country illegally (Olsen, 1988). Jose states “I remember middle school being the worst when it came to feeling welcome by others. I was put in ESL (English Second Language) this is where I met people that I’m still friends with. Many were in the same situation as me. We would play soccer together during nutrition and lunch, on our way back to our classed or after school is when we would get verbally attacked with name calling such as; nopal frigoleros, wetbacks, aliens and would even scream that the migra (border patrol) is coming”. Many illegal immigrants whether they are young or old face constant humiliation prejudice and discrimination
