What I learned most through Albany field trip is about history. First, we went to Iroquois Indian Museum. I haven’t studied Native American in my home country. One of the tribes is called Iriquois Indian. When I looked around the museum, I thought its culture has some similarities with Japanese culture for the following reasons. First, I was surprised that there were a lot of ornaments of turtle or woman in the museum and there is a tale about woman and turtle. Japanese also respect the turtle because it regards as a symbol of longevity. The ornament of woman represents for fertility. In the tale that Iriquois people believe, they think the turtle helps skywoman, who fell from the sky, and made the Earth. So women are powerful than men. As

Both America and India can a wide range of religions within their populations. Although both have numerous religions, their main religions and belief systems have more differences than similarities. India, with its vast size, is the most religiously diverse nation in the world. Some of the major religions in India include Buddhism, Jainism, Sikism, and Judaism. However, the religion that encompassed most the nation is Hinduism. Hinduism accounts for seventy percent of India’s population. While Hinduism is the top religion in India, Christianity takes up much of the United States’ population, followed by Protestantism and Roman Catholicism.

One of them are Indian Food. A food i like is Chicken Tikka Masala with brown rice and naan bread! Another is white rice and fish and chicken curry. India has a lot of spices and that's what they use in their food. That's what India is known for, its spices.

It is a community where holidays and festivals are celebrated on a wide scale, irrespective of caste, and beliefs. Where on one hand the community celebrates Eid ul- Fitr, Bakr- Id, Buddha Jayanti, and Baisakhi, there on the other, it also enthusiastically participates in the festivals like Diwali, Holi, Ganesh Chaturthi, and Christmas. Not only the community shares different festivals but also share diverse places of worship. Where on one side there is a Temple and Gurudwara, there on the other is Mosque and Church. This brings an admirable combination of languages, rituals, festivals, cuisines, clothes, and principles in one diverse community, India. While researching Hinduism beliefs and practices, I found that Hinduism is one of the oldest and most widely practices religions in South Asia. It is also the third largest religion in the world with 16 percent of the world’s population. Hinduism is also known as a polytheistic religion because they believe in more than one god. There are many gods and goddesses in Hinduism, but the main and the highest gods are Lord Brahma, the creator; Lord Vishnu, the protector; and Lord Shiva, the destroyer. Hinduism is a religion with a variety of beliefs and practices. The four major beliefs of Hinduism are the caste system, multiple Gods, karma, and reincarnation.

Due to the fast food culture people have forgotten/don’t know what the traditional food in their country is. Cooking at home has reduced and people prefer going out to eat or order in.
