On 09/09/2017, I, Dillon Dickerson, badge #155, was working as a Patrol Officer for the Wichita State University Police Department, in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas. The Wichita Police Department (WPD) advised over the radio they would be stopping a vehicle at 18th and Green. The WPD Officers advised a male subject ran from the vehicle heading eastbound. Due to the location of the stop this would put the male possibly running towards campus. I went towards the west side of campus to check for the male. They described the male as a black male, skinny, 5'10", wearing white shirt and gray shorts.
I made it to the area of lot 1 when WPD Sgt. Paul Kimble #1613 asked if there was any avaliable WSU units to help with walking out the area. I advised

On 02/27/2017, I, Dillon Dickerson, badge #155, was working as a Patrol Officer for the Wichita State University Police Department (WSU PD), in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas. At approximately 2300 hours during our shift briefing second shift advised we may have to do some follow up to a case they had earlier in the shift. Officer Ben Gabel #152 was the one who took the case. Officer Gabel advised there was a Battery case which happened earlier in the day. This case involved two students. Officer Gabel said there may be a male student by the name of Mekeal Simmons making contact with WSU PD. Officer Gable stated the female half of the Battery (Jessica Johnson) would be leaving campus around 0130 hours to return to Texas. Officer Gabel advised he told the female half to call WSU PD and we would come out there to make sure she was safe while she packed up her items. Officer Gable also said he was in contact with Chief Sara Morris #113 and she was aware of the case. Officer Gable said if we do have contact with the male to get a statement from him and to contact the Captains or Chief.
On 010/05/2016, I, Chad Agnew, was working as a patrol officer for the Wichita State University Police Department, in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas. At approximately1415 hours, officers were dispatched to the Rhatigan Student Center for a suspicious character. Dispatch notified all officers that they were still gathering more information at the time but the suspicious character was a black male with crutches. They also said the subject was yelling someone had a gun.
On Friday morning, July 11, 2015, at about 12:15 AM, I was driving a marked squad and driving on the Wiouwash Trail. The campus area of the trail has a posted closing hour of 11 PM. I saw 2 males near the boat landing southwest of the Student Recreation and Wellness Center (SRWC) and start to walk away when I shined the squad spot light on them. I then saw 4 other individuals walking away from my position. I radioed to dispatch that I would be out with the group of 6 individuals and exited my squad.
On March 4th, 2018, I, Officer Albert, was working as a Police Officer for the Wichita State University Police Department. At approximately 2349 hours I was dispatched to lot 16 for a safety escort to Shocker Hall. I arrived in lot 16 at approximately 2349 hours and parked on the north side of lot 16. I was approached by three female students affiliated with Wichita State University. I started my safety escort at approximately 2352 hours, starting mileage 25347.5 for three female students to Shocker Hall. The three students were later identified as Katriana Kisner WSU ID# U763B596, Nora Dooley WSU ID# W543D237, and Caroline Boesen WSU ID # N627J492. I arrived at the north side of Shocker Hall at approximately 2353 hours, ending mileage 25347.7.
On 09/26/2016, I, Dillon Dickerson, badge #155, was working as a Patrol Officer for the Wichita State University Police Department, in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas. At approximately 1909 hours I was dispatched to Shocker Hall in regards to a Suspicious Character call. Dispatch advised there was a male which attempeted to get into Shocker Hall. He was described as a white male, blue jeans, gray sweat shirt, and had a green dwarl string backpack.

On Thursday, June9, 2016, I responded to 3457 Hillsborough Road in reference to a trespasser call. Upon arrival I met Mr. Willie Marcus Brown an armed security guard with Dunbar. Mr. Brown stated he was at the Kroger fuel center. He exited his vehicle to purchase an item when he heard his vehicle’s door closing and witnessing a while male in the driver seat of the vehicle. The suspect was revving the engine but could not place the vehicle in the drive gear. At this point he used his spare key to unlock the vehicles door and was struck about his person several times by the suspect who was attempting to get away in the vehicle. Mr. Brown stated he managed to draw his weapon on the suspect. The suspect got out of the vehicle and ran across Hillsborough
On 12/12/2016, I, Dillon Dickerson, badge #155, was working as a Patrol Officer for the Wichita State University Police Department, in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas. At approximately 2316 hours I was dispatched to Corbin Education in regards to a Suspicious Character. Dispatch advised there would be an indivudal sitting on the steps on the east side of Corbin. The reporting party gave a description as an unknown male or female, with a black hoodie, and pants on.
On December 7th, 2016, I, Officer Jeffrey L. Albert, was working as a Police Officer for the Wichita State University Police Department. At approximately 1914 hours dispatch radioed a disturbance coming from Fairmount Towers South. I arrived at approximately 1920 hours and made contact with a white male later identified as Austin Tyler Donnell. Officer DeMario Smith was on scene and started to talk to Donnell. I asked Donnell for his identification, Donnell presented his drivers license and handed it to me. I took down Donnell's information. Officer Smith, Donnell and myself walked back into Fairmount Tower South's lobby.
At approximately 1400hrs on Friday, March 18,2016 I arrived at 7810 Shaver Rd for my internship with the Portage Department of Public Safety. When I arrived I went and put on my vest and then met with Officer.Burck who was just finishing up his lunch at 1409 hrs we left the station and then headed over to 10114 harris rd to a 911 call hang up with no answer to a call back by dispatch we knew a 82 year old male was living there with his son so we went to make sure everything was ok. We arrived at 1428 hrs and or knocked on the door no one answered the door so we got a hold of the son and he gave us the the password to the garage door the officers went in and then came out and said everything was ok he just misdialed. We left and then responded to a full arrest at 1446 hrs. Which is someone who has stopped breathing fully The paramedics on scene couldn't bring him back so they pronounced him dead. The death investigation would take awhile so a sergeant came and picked me up and took me to Officer Houser. While with him we rode around his district and did traffic until around 1710 hrs and then he brought me back to the station and then I left the station around 1720

It is important to use verbal communication effectively, the types of verbal communication are Interpersonal communication and public speaking are the two main ones.
I went to Holyoke street to check the area where the chase started at to see if any evidence was thrown out. I noticed there was a orange traffic cone on the east side of Holyoke. I stopped and checked the cone and noticed there was some vomit in this area also. I informed dispatch of what I found and also I would be speaking with three males who spoke with the male before the chase. I made contact with the males at approximently 0246 hours. The males asked if it was okay for them to go back into the Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) house. I informed the males I needed to get some basic information from them before I let them go. One of the males identified himself as Omar Antonio Rodriguez by WSU ID X243W595. Omar was a Hispanic male, born on May 4th of 1999, who lives at 7207 W 77th St. N in Valley Center KS, 67147, he can be reached at 316-592-3721. Omar is going to be living in the SAE house soon. I asked Omar what he saw take place with the vehicle. Omar stated they saw the male in the vehicle vomiting onto the ground. They went up to the male and asked him if he was okay.
