Systems Analyst Objective The objective of this study is to select an information system used in the organization or school and to interview a systems analyst or designer who is familiar with the system. Following the interview this work will describe the information system organization selected and create a context diagram of the system. This work will identify the business actors and create a case glossary. Introduction The interview in this study is an individual familiar with a school-wide information system. The interviewee answered specific questions posed which are related in the following section labeled interview. I. Interview Question: Can you please explain what a school-wide information system (SWIS) is and how it is used in schools? Answer: The School-Wide Information System (SWS) is a web-based information system that is used in the elementary, middle and high schools for the prupose of improving behavior. The system provides school personnel with information that is practical as well as being timely and accurate to support decision-making about discipline systems. Informaiton is collected by school personnel relating to events of discipline in their school and the information is entered into the system. The system is web-based, protected software. Question: What are the benefits of this system? Answer: The system provides summaries of of this information for using in the design of behavior support that is effective for individual students as well

Iain’s & Co. are a large building company that currently employ a team of IT technicians to help them manage their IT infrastructure and their IT users.
