Have you ever heard of the country Uruguay? Neither had I, until I started this paper! As I was researching I found that Uruguay is famous for sports. Mainly soccer, or should I say football, as it is called everywhere else, but the United States. They hold the most world titles than any other country! So, if you ever think about visiting Uruguay, you have to catch a game! Wait did you think that was all? No, I have way more, so keep reading about the wonderful country Uruguay and it’s many traits! Now before we go any further, since you have never heard of this country we need a little back ground. Let us start with their geography. Uruguay is located in South America. It borders the South Atlantic Ocean, between Argentina and Brazil. Now where is South America you may ask, it is in the Southern Hemisphere on the Atlantic seaboard. It mainly consist of gentle rolling plains with a few rougher hills. Now on to their population! Uruguay has a population of three million three hundred forty one thousand eight hundred and ninety three. Uruguay is sixty eight thousand and thirty seven square miles. Now they may seem big compared to any other country, but to the US they are like an ant. The US is three point eight hundred and six square miles, which is three million seven hundred thirty-seven thousand nine hundred sixty-three bigger than Uruguay!
